Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Killing me won't bring her back. TOINK (Plus! Bitcoins!)
I'm now 22, meaning garish plastic weapons are now cool again. You know Nerf guns?
Some look like this:
These are OK. Sometimes life deals you a shitty hand, and you need to compensate for shortcomings. Then you use this instead:
Either way, you're dealing foamy death to your plastic wielding opponents.
I'm putting a team together. Then I'm taking that team to this other guy's team, and shooting that other team with foam bullets. I feel that this is a worthwhile endeavor. Just looking for imput / advices / key learnings SE++ might have on Nerf related warfare.
Specifically, having a Nerf shootout in a crowded city centre. Good idea?
One time, I had a friend over to play a bit of Red Alert on my LAN. During the game he said he needed to go to the bathroom, so we paused it. After about 10 minutes of wondering where the hell he went, I get up and go to check on him.
Once I was taking a poop at a restaurant and a kid crept underneath the door into my stall. I let out a big fart and then he threw up all over the floor in front of me and I just stared at him.
bitcoins are still one of the funniest things to ever happen
I find it hilarious that according to Wikipedia:
Proposed failure scenarios for Bitcoin include a currency devaluation, a declining user base, or a global governmental crackdown on the software and exchanges.
Then a Maverick as my side, and the Nite Finder for the guy I do execution style.
I was trying to justify grabbing one of the sniper rifles too. But man. Their range just blows. And the older, better, (cheaper in the US) model "Longshot" is sold at 4 times the proper price here in the UK. While the Longstrike looks shit hot, reviews indicate it is terrible.

This reminds me I need to get my Nerf guns out of the back seat of my car and taunt my dog with them some more. Also take my Raider apart and remove the air restrictor for MORE POWER.
My local Kroger had a few Nerf guns marked down a couple weeks ago and I came this close to buying a second Maverick and the unholy miniaturized baseball pitching machine that is the Barricade, but I reminded myself I'm trying not to spend money on "frivolities" right now.
My 4 mining rigs were still mining bitcoins (I left them on 24/7), generating lots of heat. It was extremely hot. I eventually woke up due to the heat, but it was already too late.
I had a terrible heat stroke, and it was quite frightening and disorienting. I not only felt physically terrible, having trouble breathing and terrible nausea.

Some day, I'll get a bandoleer full of those one shot pistols, two holsters for Mavericks, a stealth shot up each sleeve, a Barrel Break in each hand, and a vulcan on my back.

The only thing that could make it better is if I got my hands on one of those 36 shot drums.
I would be unstoppable.
I guess it isn't worth the price of a Raider to you just to get one? It would be pretty rad if they started selling them separately now that there's several guns that can use it.

Nah, I've got other things on my list to buy before more Nerf guns.
Besides, after I bought two Mavericks everyone I knew started getting me random Nerf shit. Who the hell knows what'll happen if I spend more than 12 bucks on these things.
Although, as I found out they had ulterior motives. There was a Grand Nerf War. It was suitably awesome.
the Vulcan is surprisingly good at mowing down zombies.
Because 9% think it's too high, and shouldn't be cut! 9% of respondents could not fully
get their arms around the question. There should be another box you can check for, "I
have utterly no idea what you're talking about. Please, God, don't ask for my input."
i watched the the little faq on their website and not only are they insufferable about the "incredible impact on economics" their product has it's also super vague
like i said in the other thread insofar as i can tell they're worthless fake pretend retardo currency for assholes
No. It's a new alternative currency that can't be traced and cannot be broken down into smaller increments. There is no equivalent to the cent in Bitcoins.
And I think one Bitcoin is like 30 bucks right now.
Also Bitcoins are made by crunching some algorithm or something. It just sounds idiotic.

bitcoins... :?
You can also find me on Twitter if you want to be inundated with my horrid opinions off the forums, too!
even if the casings are completely superfluous and are yet another thing to lose.
It has the best range and accuracy of all the Nerf sidearms, but just 1 shot? I am undecided.
Got one of the original blue ones. Fast, accurate, decent range.
Also, ridiculously large revolver. The manliest kind of handgun.

I find it hilarious that according to Wikipedia:
Ehhh, mine's temperamental as all hell.
Still awesome to see "brass" being ejected though.

You will be a beast.

Well that's a relief.

Yes.
Yes you did.
If you can find a drug dealer willing to accept bitcoins as currency yes. And the Feds can't trace the transfer.
like, it's designed to be untraceable or something.

fun fact two of the main places you can spend your bitcoins are on an online drug site and a place where you can buy random shit like slim jims
they are truly the currency of the future
