Brooklyn, specifically prospect heights. It's a nice neighborhood that has a good blend of local flavor + a healthy amount of gentrification without being filled with hipsters.
That being said, I totally have to get a road bike so I can ride my bike to work now. Hipster workout.
Also, the head bartender at my new job has taken me under his wing. I've hung out with some serious bizniz bartenders recently. It's been fun.

@DUE: Yeah, like my boss worked at Pegu club back in the day with Audrey Saunders and was one of the opening bartenders for PDT. Last night, I was hanging out with Sam Ross from Milk and Honey. Luckily I know most of the bartenders at Little Branch, so I was able to schmooze my way into his good graces.
I thought I'd get a lot of detractors but I'm glad others feel the way I do. I'm thinking I'll hit up Denver once I finish school.
It is fucking amazing having things to do on the weekend other than "go look at nature, again."
And you can still go look at nature from most of the cities in the west.

Also while I was there they had volume 5 of Astro City so I picked it up. They're all fairly self contained right? I've only read the ones you sent me.
yeah, the only astro cities that aren't pretty self-contained are the two (I think) volumes of The Dark Age, which should be labeled like The Dark Age pt. 1/2 or whatever.
