Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

fear and trembling is so choice

I need that class damn it!
"Okay how many people here are familiar with slash?"
BAM: Slash fanart on the table.
(I love that class)
but that doesn't change the fact that i am a little better than halfway done and it is 1:30 and i have class at 9
whoops
need 4 pages, hovering at a little over 3 right now
I'll have this shit knocked out no later than midnight, weee
any major dude will tell you
Finished that sucker in fourty minutes.

I am extremely meticulous with my writing
this is why I hate in-class essays
any major dude will tell you
I have a hard time lowering my standard of writing, is the thing
also one of my professors is completely out of touch with how long it takes to complete his tests
here is what the midterm consisted of:
four written definitions of some terms he'd introduced in class, with a minimum of two sentences necessary
eight short answer responses to quotations from the readings, which must consist of one sentence which identifies the author and the work, one which contextualizes the quote, and two which explain its significance to the class
two one-page essays, written from two prompts (our choice from a list of four)
all in fifty minutes
it was HORSESHIT
I wrote like a madman, smoke was coming off my goddamn paper when I turned it in
I got an 85 (it would have been a 91 had it not been for one piece of stupidity on my part: I only answered 7 in the short answer section, due to miscounting)
any major dude will tell you
Apparently the T.A. didn't think that was worth anything though, so I got a C-.
mission accomplished everyone
time to pack it in
slept through class, though
Went to 10:00 am meeting with prof about another class, while hopefully avoiding the prof who's class I skipped
Skipping the former prof's 11:30 class due to disease
Fuck being sick
Welcome to grad school.
I know one of my salts for sure, one salt maybe, and the other four anions for sure
Seems okay
Have you tried any flame tests?
Not at all conclusive but quick and easy and it might help you differentiate between two possibles..
we aren't given access to a flame until the final week lol
today was for anions and acidic cations
In “Annabell Lee” Poe crafts a fairy-tale like story of death and loss that takes place long ago and far away. “Annabell Lee” was the last thing Poe would ever write and it may arguably be considered the capstone to his work. Readers might be tempted to look for hidden meanings in the poem's many images and repeated motifs, yet this would be a mistake. Rather, readers should realize that the power of “Annabell Lee” is not in any allegorical hidden meaning but rather in the lyrical nature of the work – in its beautiful rhythm, far-away imagery and its sad quiet story of loss and longing.
That's all I got. suggestions?
That's stupid...Even the first year labs where I teach have boxes of bunsen's just there for the taking.
we don't have gas hooked up to our chem labs in the new science building at my university
my microbiology lab was gas because we need to constantly have rising air to avoid contamination, but for chem we have gotten by with hot plates so far
i'm assuming the prof is going to have some sort of neat fire device next week
a "matchbook"
