I stubbed my toe a while ago and it got infected and I waited too long to get it looked at, so I had to have a slice of the nail cut away. Then it didn't grow back properly so I had to do it a couple more times before it took(go to the podiatrist folks, not a dermatologist).

Naturally it was anesthetized so the procedure itself was painless, but boy was that unpleasant. Still waiting for the nail to grow back fully.

    Ever had one?

    It's fun, I promise!

Well, I'm ill, I think I'm allowed to try and entertain myself while I wait for it to be time to go see the doctor.

My head feels pretty heavy / odd right now, it is not very pleasant.

Man, some of you guys have to put up with the worst bullshit. You must hear it a lot, but I wish you all the best.

At the moment I'm on the mend from a bout of epididymitis. It wasn't painful, as I caught it pretty early on, but I had to take my driving theory test with my right bollock badly swollen and having to keep my legs wide open (ladies...) otherwise any jostling or knocking would cause a ripple of pain (...ladies?). Not agonising, but probably about 4/10 on the scale.

I spoke to my Oncologist yesterday, and evidently the current treatment plan was a little too aggressive and my liver is starting to fail. So he's halted all cycles and I'm taking a couple new meds to promote better function to prevent it from just tanking outright.

Since his plan was "Dose you until you break.", I believe we just found that point.

lol, it was too late on a Friday to get a sample sent to the lab, apparently.

The doctor agreed that it sounded like an infection of the urinary tract/bladder/kidney, and has given me a short burst of fairly general purpose antibiotics, with instructions to go to the hospital if I'm not getting better over the weekend.

The reaction was pretty much "Yeah, heh, that kind of thing will happen with a J stent and catheter, we're only really bothered if it happens a lot." which...pisses me off a bit, why is this acceptable at all?

    FML, etc. D:

P.S. Stale, you are just completely making me look like a whiny child here. Hope things get a bit better for you.
