Well that explains the werid skull on the Witch spure what it's from but the medusae does not look what i thought it was going to
I'm really hoping necrons come out and are as badass. I have this idea for a dark red shiny necrons. I haven't figured out exactly how to do it, but I will...

A lot of the websites selling bits and sprues have the little rulebooks going cheap.

More space dark elves are cool but it'd be nice if they released some Tyranids
I also am a huge fan of terrain out the ass (better than in the ass HEYO). This may be because I play DE and my transports are made out of toilet paper. Also the idea of urban warhams makes me hard. A game should not be won by army list alone. The only way to win a terrain-less fight is to be heavily armored or numerous and DE are neither.
I really would like to see a DE-scale refresh of a number of armies: Necrons first and foremost, followed by Nids, and - ugh - Tau. Honestly had the DE not been redone like they had I probably would not have gotten back into 40k and I think some new models and such would really bring some fresh blood into those armies.
To be fair, the Grey Knights player didn't bring purifiers. As we were playing he mentioned that since this was more of a fun league and not a beat the piss out of everyone league he opted not to bring them.
Had he brought them I don't think he would have maneuvered away from me as much.
At least release some of the missing models. So much they could do with a FAQ or even a White Dwarf update! But I'd really like to see what Phil Kelly could do with the next Tyranid Codex!
I Spent 90% of my Money on Women and Warhammer. The Rest I Wasted.
Yarrick.
Dude has a 4+ armor save, a power claw which always goes last (which means basically never?) and about the thing he grants you over a regular lord commissar is a slightly better stubbon 10 bubble (regular lord commissar is just LD10) and fearless which is arguably worse than stubborn 10. Eternal Warrior is about the only thing he's got going for him. 185pts? No thanks. If he was not an IC, but an upgrade to an existing commissar i could see him being ridiculous (haha, you can't single me out), but as is, I think he's pretty shit for the points.
There.
"Look at that subtle off-white coloring, the tasteful thickness of it... Oh my God, it even has a watermark."
Although I can see he is less than optimal. Seems most IG dudes just use special characters for the rules they provide (lol fuck your reserves) as opposed to combats
Hilariously it would still be even more cost heavy if I manage to find a metal Kharne and Terminator Lord.
Srsly, they're 72" range and they just rape shit. They are like my favoritest tank in the game (not counting griffons which aren't really tanks, just mortars with some useless tracks tacked on to them).
For the cost of yarrick, you could have a Company Command squad with Master of Ordinance, Lascannon team, 2 plasma guns, 2 body guards and camo cloaks.
"Look at that subtle off-white coloring, the tasteful thickness of it... Oh my God, it even has a watermark."
I'm always so torn between hydras and griffons, because I NEEEEED to take at least two russes or demolishers.
Man, how cool would it be if Pask or another IC unlocked russes as elites? Maybe the asshole would be worth his 50pts.

All I had were vehicles, pretty much. I managed to make a 1250 list out of...
Mephiston
5 Dreads(Two Furioso's, Two MM/SB, One DC Dread with blood talons)
Vindicator w/ Dozer Blade
Land Speeder with CML
4 Death Company, one with PF
Rhino
Ended up playing a henchmen list with
Coteaz
6 Henchmen Squads w/ 10 SB Warriors and 2 Jokaero
Dreadnought w/ TLLC and ML
Vindicare
I pretty much crushed him. He blew up the rhino turn one after it pretty much flew into his lines(Spearhead), and the DC basically went from combat to combat, winning with 2-4 guys each battle.
Mephiston took his sweet time getting into CC, but ended up jumping coteaz. Even with psyk-out grenades, he still squished coteaz, without taking a wound in return.
Furioso's took too long to do much, except one template'd a full squad away. The other helped in a couple fights.
DC dread only took out one squad, but did it quick. Then got immobilized.
Regular dreads did nothing, I believe.
Basically, the game was "DC kill like three squads with barely any dudes, vehicles pray not to die to jokaero." I tabled him by 4(woulda been five, he still had his vindicare, but we called it).
Yay gimmick vs gimmick games.
Hell, my loganwing has been almost tabled by turn 3-4 because the last 2 armies I've faced were almost direct counters to it. But I still am going to try it tonight. What the hell.

You will absolutely lose, though.
If you wanna bring logan wing to 'Ard boys you'll need drop pods and some land raiders at the very least. Then you can drive them terminators wherever they need to go.
If you are just going to do power-armor wolfguard wing, then you need combi meltas and transports. (It's basically a pedroish sternguard list at this point) so you'd want to look at his tactics.

On an unrelated note: Do space marine homeworlds have imperial guard regiments, or are they exempt from that part of tithing? How come we never see any Ultramar Guard, Baal Legions, or Fenrisian Wardogs? I think that could be a cool theme to run with.
I HAS A BLOG NOW! FOLLOW ME!
Also neither Baal nor Fenris are densely inhabited enough to support standard tithes anyway, being unaltered deathworlds (Catachan maintains a large human population because it's highly fertile, even if most of the "food" thinks of you as food too, and has strong trade links with the greater imperium; Neither Fenris nor Baal have either of those advantages).

This list pretty much expands upon the same core list I've been making since I first got the battleforce box. For 750 I added in a Ravager, Trueborn squad on a Venom, replaced Kabalites with Wracks, and deployed another Haemonculus with the Wracks. I also got rid of the Reavers. For 1k I added in a Razorwing and filled up the Wrack unit as well as giving a flickerfield to every vehicle that didn't already have one. Lelith will be riding along with a Haemonculus aboard a Raider with the Wyches.
For 1500, I added a second Ravager, another Trueborn Venom, and Lelith.
When you buy 1-3 Haemonculi for an HQ choice, are they supposed to deploy together?
Joline Lovejoy: Gifted Priest/Pistoleer - Chains of Corvis IKRPG
Only comments about the list are the lack of troops. 2 troops choices is a bit risky, considering how squishy dark elder are, even with pain tokens
I never make Straken a doom squad. 3 meltas, a banner, one body guard and a Chimera. Then he moves near my assault blobs offering furious charge and counter charge while nibbling around the edges with the meltas picking off anything nasty that gets to close. The thing about straken is that he is practically guaranteed to survive one round of combat as you need 15 wounds just to put one on him, and he has a 3+/5++ for saves. Not to mention 5 S7 I4 power attacks are really hard to ignore for anything that is not a large amount of TH/SS terminators. Which of course generally get ground down by large numbers of guardsmen just fine, so there is no reason to throw him at them.
Yarrrick however is worthless purely because he bestows fearless. Generally your guys grind down enemies through attrition. You lose combat, and win wars. Fearless just causes you to take more wounds than you otherwise would have to no real effect because with L9 (10 with bubble), and a reroll you are not going to be failing many leadership tests. Unless you bring Ogryn and then you are often better off just having a lord commissar nearby, but not in the unit because the fearless wounds hurt the Ogryn more than they help.
Space Marine Homeworlds do routinely have Planetary Defense Forces depending on which chapter, or instance the Ultramar PDF was
famous for fighting to the last to defend the planet from the tyranid forceslargely forgotten about because only SPACE MARINES can be real heros. Also my GW is running some sort of wierd tournament between SWs and Orks where you get either a free Blood Claw or Boy to add to your normal army, one with free upgrades to boot. As I've already got hordes of useless dudes with poor armour saves I went with the SW. Apparently you can have him join any squad and he will gain the special rules of that unit. Although I suspect that may change once I give him a Melta and Power Fist and stick him with some Lictors...
