[The New Kid] PA film discussion

Don't see a thread already existing about it, but anyway.

So you might've heard a while back about Paramount pictures picking up the rights to produce an animated film based on the Penny Arcade one-shot comic "The New Kid" about a boy who has to move to a new planet because of his father's work.

So far from what has been revealed:
*Script will be written by Gary Whitta
*Will be produced by Mary Parent and Cale Boyter

The questions which some of the people are wondering are:
*Will either Mike or Jerry be involved?
*Will Tycho, Gabe, Div or any of the other Penny Arcade cast make an appearance?
*Will there be a video game to tie-in? (would make it the second PA video game, not counting Poker Night)

I seem to remeber reading on Gary Whitta's twitter that he sat down with them both and planned out ideas for the movie, so yes. However, I can't find the exact tweet were he said it right now...
