Same price as the old 360 wireless headset (60$ US), supports both the 360 wireless protocol and Bluetooth. Also I guess a new black version of the old 360 media remote.

Today we announced the all new Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth. The device is compatible with Bluetooth devices such as mobile phones and PCs in addition to being able to connect to Xbox 360 through the console’s standard radio frequencies. The Xbox 360 Wireless Headset with Bluetooth will be available for $59.99 (U.S. ERP) and will be available in stores worldwide beginning early November 2011.

So, MS finally releasing a wireless accessory that doesn't need to use MS's proprietary wireless protocol to function. Feature-add to justify the 60$ price tag, or preparation for their next console going to Bluetooth for wireless?

If I could find a thin, glossy black sticker to cover up the logo, that would actually be pretty neat to have for dual-use with a phone.

    That's pretty cool.

I still don't like the idea of voicechat except where necessary, like coop games.

And I still don't like coop games that much either. :P

    But still...cool.
