I'm continuously surprised by how good Alphas is. 6 minutes into last week's episode and it's really quite good.

The bits I've seen have been decent. Curious to watch more.

It somehow avoids a lot of the idiocy that tends to come with superhero stuff and is genuinely quite well written.

Definitely going to note it for when we've finished catching up on other stuff. Which is a whole lot...

    Ugh...

I think I sat on one of my testicles. Sitting in this chair is now somewhat painful. I hate wearing pants, why can't I wear a kilt instead?

    Steam
So we get stiff once in a while. So we have a little fun. What’s wrong with that? This is a free country, isn’t it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I wanna buy it a drink, that’s my business.

Kilt is not an option for my uniform, sadly.

I have a 12 pack of it sitting in my fridge at home.

Just tell them you'll accept a massive cut in your salary if they'll let you wear a kilt.

I'm having it properly chilled because Echo said it was disgustingly sweet if not yesterday.

Conclusion: the smell and taste disgust me.

I think I'm just going to be non-adventurous with my selection of fizzy drinks in the future. White Rock Cream yesterday, and today Vanilla Coke = both bleh.

    -hi five-

    tastes awful for me too

also, relatives who flew into London yesterday, apparently obliviously decided to take midnight strolls around their (not terribly rich) neighborhood. Nothing happened, but still.

Yes! It's like less creamy cream soda!

Possibly a bit less blargh than cream soda but still not nice.

I understand why these drinks haven't become incredibly popular in Europe.

you've already tried them already, so it's moot :D

Apparently they, too, are too sweet, albeit the UK ones may have reduced sugar.

Here I was unable to think of a way to make GoW more epic.

But they did it, GoW + wand spells. This sounds great, going to have to find a demo or something to download.

I've been averaging like five hours a night this week. Very much not clever, but it's been working out okay. I can just feel that I'm going to crash after lunch today though.
