Losing a game is one thing.

Being manhandled because one person is clearly just fucking your team on purpose is another.

Granted the LoL community is known to rage at people who are not doing it on purpose and are just losing (which by definition has to happen to 50% of the players), but there are people out there who truly just like to fuck over other people's fun. That is their fun. It's like anti-fun.

I haven't played LoL specifically but seems to me like h4rdc0rz g4m3rz almost always have atrocious sportsmanship

maybe it's because they didn't play sports in school

Almost all of these problems can be solved by playing with friends. Even if you just have one or two people with random strangers filling out the rest of the group, I find that their badness or their rage becomes far less annoying when you can laugh about it with friends. Also someone who will back you up if you get raged on.

And really, raging is the worst sort of shit you'll get about 90% of the time. Sometimes people are bad and they feed, but actual running straight into the enemy or their towers over and over without even trying to fight is extremely rare.

There have been games that I've lost where everyone on both teams had fun and it was awesome.

And there have been other times where I or someone else will die once and someone will be screaming "DUMASS FUCKIN NOB! FEEDER! YOU NOT BUILD RIGHT NO INFINTY EDGE SDJFHSIDFIF REPORT UNSKILLED PLAYER!"

PvE in WoW is pretty much Everyone Wins. One of the reasons I unsubscribed from WoW was the bad sportsmanship in PvP. The idea that on average they would lose about half the time is just too much for some people. I guess that means I should never go anywhere near LoL.

if you pick the right (OP) class and twink the shit out of it with all the uber raid gear
that only roughy 1% of the population will ever see.
it just takes time to farm raids over and over and over
that way, no skill is involved.

Big comebacks in games like LoL are like hitting it big at the vegas tables. It happens, but it doesn't happen often and you should never count on it happening else you be eternally disappointed

People should make more games like Tetris, where losing is assumed and you're just trying to see how long you last and how far you get.

I once had a couple of dudes report me for unskilled play in Twisted Treeline, they were a supposedly kinda famous guy named Athene, and a random pubby. Funny thing is, we won the game, and my score was about the same as there's. To top it off they reported me for being unskilled but since I don't play Ranked it will have had 0 effect on me.
