Huddle is like a group IM or chat room available to people invited.

I have returned the add to everyone that has added me.

I think that Huddles are only for the mobile app and Hangouts are only for the desktop app. (Huddles are supposed to combine the group chat of a chat room with the reply-at-your-pace and mobility of text messaging, I believe. It's kind of an IM/text/chat room combo.) Not 100% sure on that, though.

in a hangout, there's a chat on the left side that can be opened up. i would bet that you could huddle in a hangout with your circle. fun with terms!
