    My ghost character had like twice the CP left after I did the stat adding.

    I probably would've spent that all on moxie for no reason.

    I'd like to get some people together and slog through all of NWN2 some time. I need to actually finish that game and maybe having people along for the trek with smart ass commentary would make it bearable.

    I'm thinking I may tweak/change my character concept. I like the basic idea, but there's something not quite right about it.

    So far we have a Bodyguard/Diplomat, a Slitherbot cop, and an rebellious heiress with a Fury, right?

    Can we talk about other games in here that aren't necessarily pen and paper or collectable card games?

    Like Betrayal or Dixit or Smallworld or The Great Dalmuti or Guillotine?

    I played the shit out of the Castle Ravenloft boardgame at PAX. That was some fun, and no mistake.

    Slitherbot PI, but yeah. also the heiress is a small time merc, i'm trying to keep most of my skills more gears towards social interactions while having one or two useful combat skills beyond just being tough.

    's not too hard to make it work. Both Avenger and Invoker have an Int secondary, and you only need 13 Int to get the Swordmage multiclass, Blade Initiate, giving you Heavy Blades as an implement. Versatile Expertise (Heavy Blades) to get the math fix for both implement and weapon attacks and you're good to go.

    Yeah, that's why I'm considering switching - it seems like we've got social covered pretty well, all things considered.

    Do we need a more combat focused/tankish character, or perhaps a hacker?

  • Options
    MeldingMelding Registered User regular
    a hacker would be useful, yeah, as near as i know, no one here can hack a computer worth a damn. i think everyone has some combat ability so it's not super necessary we need a tank i reckon. i got like durability 65 or so, so i can fill if we really need it.

    Yeah, just not sure how well arcane fits in with the theme. I was actually going to just use a staff as a weapliment, take Staff Expertise, and just flavor it that the staff looks like a scythe, but mechanically it'd still be identical to a staff.

    Kingsport is probably the least of the big expansions. It's got a few neat things but doesn't really add as much as dunwich or Innsmouth, Innsmouth is probably my favourite.

    @Solar Alright, here's the retooled/recreated character.

    AnonSi
    AnonSi is a Cyber Tagger, a hacker/artist who uses his talent for system cracking as a form of artistic expression and social commentary. He's well known in underground art circles and autonomist habitats for his for both his vibrant, synaesthetic simulspace design, and his strong anti-hypercapitalism message. A once-prolific artist, he went into hiding after he completed what he had referred to as his "First True Masterpiece", in which he hacked into the personal meshspace of a well-known hypercorps spokesperson and turned it into a "vivid, modern reinterpretation of Dante's Hell". Commenting on the backlash from the piece AnonSi responded "I did nothing wrong. [The Spokesperson] had turned themselves into what they were, I was only showing them their reflection."
