It was discussed in the old PAX thread (?) that forums games were on hold because there was some sort of secret surprise coming up. That got delayed, so things should be coming along again. Thorgot asked a while back to run forum assassins, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

Also, this fucking thread is awesome.
