i was never a fan of MLP, old or new
my forum name is a truncation of "OneTrickPony" which used to be my online gaming handle
because, you know, i'd like specialize in one weapon in a FPS or one class in a RPG or whatever
when i started posting here i needed a sig and av, so i held a contest to design one, and Janson made me the MLP sig and av i sported for years
it made for a good gag. you'd have these cute pink ponies being playful accompanying my mean-spirited, aggressive, and generally arrogant posting style
it was a good contrast
but 1. my posting style changed pretty drastically over the last few years (i'm less of an asshole!) so the joke doesn't work as well and 2. the new MLP came out and its fans who unironically are obsessed with it
i want nothing to do with any of that shit
