Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Looking for a more powerful low profile card for media pc.
I have in my slimline media pc a pretty basic ATI passive cooled card.
XFX HD-545X-YNH2 Radeon HD 5450 (Cedar) 512MB 64-bit DDR2 PCI Express 2.1 x16 HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card
It works great for movie playing and older games, but I am looking to see if someone makes something with a little more umph so I can power some newer games with it. Since my TV is a lot bigger than my monitor it would be cool to have the PC be able to play action games or something. The CPU in the PC is a AMD Athlon II X2 245 and it has 4 gigs of ram, so the video card is where I need to update things a bit. I can play Bastion and Limbo, stuff like that, but how about Batman or something. I dont need to run stuff at some super high resolution with 16xAA or AF, dont care about that, I just want stuff to run smoothly so I can sit back on the couch instead of my computer desk.
It's a smaller case, only 3 inches or so high, not a tower, so it needs to be a low profile card to sit in it.
This is the case I am using.

I KISS YOU!
