Yeah, I've heard it's super buggy. I guess that's why they haven't bothered releasing it outside the US, you guys are the beta testers.
So, not a whole lot. Rainbow Moon finally gets a demo for folks on the fence about it, but being an RPG, I'm not sure how convincing it'll be. House of the Dead: Overkill, which I swear was released already. Zen Pinball 2 will be on a lot of radars, I'm sure. And beyond that, just Bioshock and MW3 which will probably not be priced in a friendly way, knowing Activision.

I pronounce it bee-log.
Nope, I think he was just referring to MW3 being 'not priced in a friendly way'.

Yeah, that's about what I meant. Re-reading it, I can see that it's not quite as clear as it could be on that.

So, a few surprises here. Remember Treasure Park, one of the apps announced alongside Paint Park (and Wake-Up Club) months ago? Well....it's out now. With absolutely no fanfare. Seems legit. It also seems like the update posts might include whatever PSP titles (possibly PSOne as well, when they get those sorted out, schedule-wise) have been officially added to the Vita's storefront and are, as such, 'officially' completely compatible. This is progress. But I feel like Growlanser was downloadable before today - or was that just using the PS3 transfer method?
Beyond that, I'm curious about Zen Pinball 2 and admittedly have limited knowledge about it. Does it have its own tables as well as being able to support all the DLC (and original?) tables from the first, or is it just a hub to sort of bring everything together? I would assume it's the former, but I really have no idea. Just hasn't been something I've been following personally, but I know it's popular and it's a free download it seems, so some people might grab it just to get it.
Also, I've bolded the Valkyria Chronicles DLC Price Drops because, look, just buy them if you haven't already. And if you have the game. Actually, just buy them and then find the game if you don't. I'm sure future efforts are a lost cause because Sega is crumbling, but the game itself is wonderful and the Selvaria DLC at the very least, is really good as well.
it doesnt have its own tables per se, but the Plants Vs Zombies table just came out today so thats new anyway. mainly it gets all the tables into one hub and integrates the friends leaderboards stuff from marvel into the original tables etc. also you can demo all the tables now, which is great.
i got #3 in the world on the Mars table currently, but im going to assume thats because not many people have played it at this point. i did get like 10x any of my old scores for it though, so im still pretty stoked.

AND SHE WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME
That's actually been my biggest issue so far. I got all the tables downloaded/imported on my Vita, but it appears that the PSN only has the Vita files up for some of the tables/packs, so my ZP2 looks really bleak and empty on the PS3. The in-game "import tables" function seems to not work nearly as well as I'd hoped it would.
Some good stuff this week. MGS, Twisted Metal(s), Zen Pinball etc and RDR for Plus members.
I do think the disc version of the Meta Gear collection is a better deal however, purely for inclusion of Peace Walker (on PS3 anyway). So go with that version if you can.
I have no idea what the EA Sports Season Ticket is, but it seems expensive.
I should have waited.
They announced that it'd be coming like two weeks ago at GamesCom, so you should've been paying attention.
Pretty rubbish update really. I was looking forward to two things this week, Tomba and Machinarium (the latter is going to be free for PS+) but they were both delayed for however long it takes them to fix the problems. So annoying. I guess I'll buy Crash 2 and Crash 3, as they're on sale, but that's about it.
Speaking of which, if Diarmuid doesn't want to post the sale list, I guess I can.
AND SHE WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME
Speaking of Tombi, are there any plans for the second one? I know they said they were waiting to see how the first one sold, but I haven't heard anything else.
You can't see it but I'm weeping cowboy tears.
If faith is just a silent tribute, mine is just a desperate act.
For some reason they rarely (if ever) mention the sales in the main update post.
So I usually don't know anything about them until I turn my PS3 on (which isn't happening a lot these days), unless I spot a specific sales post.
So... uh, go ahead. I guess.
They always post them separately:

If you're looking for scores to beat (I'm not very good), send Rockpaste an invite and say you're from Penny Arcade.

Both of you fine gents may add me if it would please you. I just downloaded ZP2 because, like Temple of Montezuma, it was free and let you compete/compare progress with friends. So, feel free to send me a request if you want more PSN friends. I want more games for my Vita that have this feature

@cooljammer00: I haven't played it but from what I remember hearing, Red Johnson's is a low budget, mediocre Heavy Rain-alike adventure game. The new one's coming to PSN next week as well.
AND SHE WOULDN'T GIVE IT TO ME
It's a decent enough game but this localization is rough.

If it follows the same release schedule as the US, expect it next week.
Loved Scott Pilgrim, and I'm excited to see what they did with DD Neon.

Seriously, those of you on the fence, go on eBay and buy a sub for 35 bucks, it more than pays for itself in a month or two. Just like Xbox Live subs, there is zero reason to pay msrp for these things.
