Fluttershy is a cute little shy kitten. We love her. Derpy is that big floppy eared dog that comes running in going "hi!" and scares the kitten away.

Edit: Looking at the picture in the OP, we need more pictures of Fluttershy in a beret.

I finally was able to finish the last two episodes of Season 1 and watched the first episode of Season 2. Gotta say I love Discord so far, John de Lancie is just so perfect in that role. I also loved how Discord got released from his imprisonment, though he really didn't seem to hold much of a grudge against Celestia did he? I mean sure he stole the Elements of Harmony and caused crazy things to happen, but that's not really anything he wouldn't have done anyway as far as I can tell. He's just a lovable prankster, like Pinkie Pie but with phenomenal cosmic power.

Pinkie Pie never actually tries to cause any strife or discord. Everything she does is all in good fun. Discord, on the other hand...

Technically, none of the one-time guest characters had their names in the credits. Or at least I never saw them there. They just kept the same credits roll throughout the season, with Applebloom, Scootaloo, and Sweetie Belle being listed as credited voices way back before all three of them started conversing.

I don't see Rainbow Dash having a pet either, because she lives in a cloud and only pegasus so far are able to set foot on clouds. The turtle with a balloon holding it up is a hilarious image, but it just doesn't work in the long run.
