I bought Back to Karkand and nothing happened. Couldn't join Karkand servers. I had to talk to like 5 different customer service people over the course of two days to get it fixed.

So, I bought this game on pre-order back when it came out. Even though I'm still running Windows XP, I knew I was going to get the game eventually, and I figured I might as well get the free Karkand stuff while I could.

The pre-order also came with the Physical Warfare Pack. Now, I still haven't upgraded to Wndows 7 yet, because of school and lazy, but I notice on the back of the code for the Physical Warefar Pack it says it expires at the end of the year. It also says to redeem it I need to click on the something from the main menu, which of course is impossible because DX9 won't run it (not that I've tried, but that's what happens to every other DX10/11 game). What I'm wondering, can I put everything into Origin or something, and redeem the code that way?

I googled around, and it looks like everything in the pack is going to be free eventually anyway? Has that happened yet?

The game menu is browser based. So I do not think you would have any problems with it

Well, I downloaded Origins and it let me redeem both the install key and the pre-order bonus. At least I think it did, the warfare pack isn't showing up anywhere, but the code comes back used when I tried it again.

It's alot easier in close combat. Tighter maps and more people actually playing it. Once you get a good squad that gets momentum its hard to stop you. Just takes one good run to wreck face. Also the M320 Frags are great for sniping and stealing kills on Scrapmetal if you on A's roof and you fire to B's [based off Dom flags].

The EOD bot kill on the other hand is best to just boost to get your kill. Damn droid drives like its drunk.

I started playing this again recently, got in a lot of rousseau over double xp weekend. I finished the assignment to unlock the spas, pistol kills were easy to get thanks to gun master mode.

Also, close quarters even with no double xp is basically pick a gun/class you want to level up, find a 1000 ticket TDM server and enjoy unlocking every attachment in one match.

@tef pretty sure I have you on my friends list, my ID is NinjaFrizz. During the week I usually play around 8 or 9pm EST. sometimes earlier if I am not going to the gym.

I always use the party voice too, because seriously they have one of the best VoIP for games ever.

At least these Close Quarters achieves seem pretty easy

I'm still missing two Karkands because I literally cannot get jet kills. Fifteen or something minutes in them with only 20 points. I can do everything else in these games but flying is just way too weird for me.

The really fucked thing about jets is they become way easier once you get the first few unlocks. Getting there though is rough. To get the IR flares I just went and landed the thing over a flag point and got the points for the capture.

I also spent $30 on a joystick and it was totally worth it

I may invite my pilot friend over to get the achievements for me; he is a pilot in real life and also my pilot in game

It's tricky but I just get the throttle down as much as possible and when you get close to the ground you'll slow way down. once you touch down, you stop pretty quick in my experience

There's a VTOL jet in there somewhere I thought, which might make life even easier
