Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

Confirmed. As a reminder, I have surgery at 0900, est, tomorrow morning. I should be able to check in later that night, if all goes well, but I won't be around as much as normal the next few days during recovery.

Hmm. I am playing Italy apparently. According to something I read this is difficult for new players. Oh well.

Statistically, Italy wins the least. On the other hand they're not the ones who get totally eliminated most often (that would be Austria). But it's fun to be in the middle! And now you get to be double underdog, so any achievements will be extra impressive.

When writing up my orders, I always use a grid map, like this one:
    http://www.crockford.com/wrrrld/diplomacy.html
It can help cut down on mis-written orders (they still happen though >< )
