It's extremely hard not to love Gus, despite the fact that he is the currently the primary antagonist. I feel like I can only watch the show in a relaxed state if I choose not to root for anyone.

The way I think of it is that Walt is the primary antagonist for the entire series. Everything he does is to help himself and hurt someone else.

That's hard to justify, especially now of all times. He's basically in the mess he's in for all of Season 4 only because of his selfless rescue near the end of Season 3.
