gamzee didn't do anything. but he did highlight Doc Scratch calling them suckers because the plan to blow up the green sun actually was a plan to create the green sun, which is something that only doc scratch wanted
sollux was bringing the troll meteor toward the green sun so that their group could meet up with aradia/rose/sollux/dave
scratch went through
jade died and merged with jadesprite to become god tier jade. seeing as she was actually useful it is likely that the jadesprite personality is gone
basically almost the entirety of act five wouldn't make a lick of goddamned sense without these threads and other people explaining it piecemeal
i'm not exactly sure what that says about the storytelling
i think everyone is learning things from other people (except maybe speed racer)

The answers to your questions in respective order:
Gamzee was highlighting text in a conversation with the late Doc Scratch, revealing the Doctor's true intentions.
He was moving their asteroid towards the green light that was supposed to be the signal of the Green Sun exploding.
It did, hence the rewinding you could see on the fourth wall Jade created.
I'm gonna guess the two Jades are one and the same now, or at least the one that died "woke up" as Jadesprite.

The troll session is dying. They can't stay there, they need to be near the Green Sun. Him dying was a foretold conclusion that was basically the first bit of exposition we had about him.
