Meh, it's only for a few seconds at a time. I've gotten used to it.

So what exactly is the cause? It seems to say something about "too many connections to x" as if we're just too much traffic for the server to handle...

I need to upgrade the entire database subsystem. To do that succesfully requires 12 hours of good solid work. I am not only upgrading the forum code, but the mainsite code, and I would be redoing the database.

Right now I am on vacation, and so I am just working on smaller code mods.

Could you try and type out all the coding that would need to be changed, and then cut and paste it? I know nothing about coding, so please feel sorry for me.

That's gonna be a no. The short and long answer are both no.

The Squeeze Theorem states that the middle answer must also be "no."

The Squeeze Theorem is right yet again.
