My PC is so old I'm pretty much in Tycho's shoes. And have been for a few years.
I've always loved it when PC games had graphic settings so damn wide in quality change that it's pretty much this comic. Bland blocks vs. goddamn I'm hungry for some croissants now.
And I drank. I drank fully. I drank deeply. I drank of their tears, aged thirteen years in casks of mockery and condescension. I drank until I could drink no more, and then filled my mouth to the brim just to savor the flavor. Oh, they were sweet. So, so sweet...
I think the "sideburns" are supposed to be the straps of his helmet. In the first panel you can see the chinstrap part. Tycho doesn't have black hair, after all.

Hmm, I guess they are now that you mention it.
I can't grow good sideburns myself so maybe my mind suppressed me noticing it.
I would kill for a good chocolate croissant. Why is it that only a few specialty bakeries carry them? That shit is delicious!
Oh, guess what? I have a windows 7 desktop with 4 gigs of ram, an i5, and a kick ass NVidia card and its sitting in a closet in Djibouti collecting dust and breeding ants. I'm typing this on my big blue with 2 gigs, a HD 4850, xp, and an anthlon 64 x2 dual.
As much as I loathe to be the pedantic francophone in the room, I have to mention that a confiserie is a candy store. For bread and croissants you would go to a boulangerie.
I just bought a $500 gaming rig in anticipation of Diablo 3, and it surprisingly can run this just fine on medium settings. I understand there are a lot of settings above medium, but I also understand those settings are for graphic enthusiasts who drop thousands of dollars every four years for a new computer. Seems silly to me that some people are complaining about it.
You fuck wit' Die Antwoord, you fuck wit' da army.

You can't see it due to the crop of the shot, but above confiserie, it says boulangerie et
Alternative option: They intentionally put confiserie there just to needle the pedantic francophones. Congratulations, you are part of the joke! Now we all have a good laugh together, oui?
I pretty much ignored the text, because that's not a Texas Instruments 1000, that's a TI-99/4A and I had one of those in 1983. And also that Beginner's BASIC manual on the left there.

My eyes are bleeding.
I was actually surprised by how well my computer handled Battlefield 3. We'll see how it holds up in conquest mode...

Are his eyes bleeding because of the croissant or the quality of that French?
