A lot of his stuff is pretty solid. There's a reason why he's still famous after all these centuries. It tends to be full of cheap laughs, but very well written cheap laughs.

Seinfeld is shit.
These comics that keep getting shown, though, just aren't funny on their own. Not to me. So maybe they are funny in the entire context of the strip, but they do absolutely nothing for me as a person who hasn't read the strip.
I would honestly rather read Moon Over June where I can at least see someone sticking golf clubs in someone else's vagina.
I would say it is a large price to pay for that particular service.
