Two possible designs for an Irish Nordic Cross Flag.

Those are the three best colours. All the countries that got to pick first chose those. Everyone who doesn't have those colours is obviously in the second division of cool.
It's cooler to have independent thought than to copy your colours from every other nation doing it.
Only other country to use the same colours (and the shades) as Sweden is Ukraine.
An adaptation for the traditional flag for Ulster.
However the Official Flag was suspended in the 1970's, and the Red Hand of Ulster has kinda been co-opted by aspects of the Unionist/Loyalist community, so it's possible if we ever get an official flag again, it won't be that.
