Chu, you have grown into a better person since when I started posting [chat]. Which was what? 2008-2009? I started on the late shift from Japan though then swapped to normal human time later.
Also that first page is one of the least horrible Ron Paul first pages we have had, grats Chu.
Wiggin could be irritating, but honestly, the worst thing was how he managed to bring out some pretty disgusting sides of a lot of otherwise good people here.
No, making fun of someone's mum for having cancer is sorta off limits, why did this need to be pointed out to you.
A "news" article asks whether Obama can be re-elected.
Setting aside your opinions of his policies and achievements and stuff, doesn't framing the question that way help frame the narrative and thus make it harder for him to be re-elected?
Get off Fox's website
Sky News, actually. They're both owned by Rupert Murdoch though so your point is still valid.
I can't help it. I use Yahoo for my email, and Yahoo's "news" source has a habit of taking from Sky or the Daily Mail.

i was a lot less horrible of a ron paul fan than many
even at the height of my libertarianism i was never really fuck the [disadvantaged class]
i just was playing mental calculus and intellectual dodge ball to avoid taking my beliefs to their conclusion and confronting what i was empowering
So we get stiff once in a while. So we have a little fun. What’s wrong with that? This is a free country, isn’t it? I can take my panda any place I want to. And if I wanna buy it a drink, that’s my business.
apart from the bits that are just a logical extension of all people being equal and all that
Basically just giving equal options, protections, and consideration to everyone regardless of gender, except where science shows biological differences that must be factored in for sanity's sake - no free tampons for dudes and such.
I think I have probably gotten less abrasive due to my time here. Defiantly gotten better about some things like noticing how horrible certain commercials and such are towards women and basic sexism. Still a bit more radical with my politics at times than some folks around here. Though [chat] killed the small remaining bit of me that was really a weeaboo. But living in Japan did most of that work.
Also have become a lot more knowledgeable about comics but not sure that is a good thing.

but that's just... like, duh
but then there's the kind of feminism arivia's into
Over the years, I've gotten a lot more partisan. I once dated a Republican staffer. I cannot even imagine contemplating that now. It's a strain just to keep my conservative friends these days.
Although, I think that's just as much a part of Rs going hard hard right as me going harder left.

Naw. Not everyone. Some people will still be awful then.
I'm in a perpetual state of this.
Seriously.
Oh I just don't look back and just assume I always was more terrible before
I understand her frustration - Feminism is often co-opted by very non-feminist people. Just a matter of how she responded to it.
That's certainly my plan. 8-)
and how!
On the black screen

No, I try to be very nice to everyone and I try really hard to let people know I'm joking with them if I tease them.
If I'm mean, you'll know, and only then would I say I was terrible.

Because you'll look back at hug-o-phobia like chu looks back at the Ron Paul thing, naturally.

THIS MUST BE CORRECTED!
HUGS, STAT!
Fixed for proper UK grammar.

Wait wait, I thought welfare queens didn't want jobs. And that that was kind of the point.

Feminism is only about equality. It's a bit of a misnomer, but by definition, feminism is strongly against misandry as well.
That's like asking what left wing politics is.
There's a fair number of branches.
