Help picking the best PA comic for a report
Hello PAers!
I am doing a report that includes information about Penny Arcade, and I wanted to include one of the PA comic strips to accompany the explanation of "What Penny Arcade is" - however, I am having a tough time trying to choose one!
The criteria are:
- It must be SFW (it IS going into a formal report)
- It must try to epitomize the soul of Penny Arcade
- It must appeal to all audiences, not just specifically gamers (most of those I am presenting not are not gamers at all)
I know it's a high bar, but if you have a favourite comic that comes to mind that you think would fit, please post it!
Much appreciated!
No, YOU make ME a sandwich!

For some reason, it is smaller than it used to be.
It does say "balls" but, I love the art and the subject.
Also:
Steam: abunchofdaftpunk | PSN: noautomobilesgo | Lastfm: sjchszeppelin |
Defiance: Alaria/noautomobilesgo
This is probably one of the more representative comics.
one of my favorites
How can I make the picture show up in this post? I'm failing incredibly
Also the "free waffels" one.
This would be my choice.
I liked the placenta sandwiches comic, too.
Alternatively:
A lot of comics contain profanity, but if that's okay, there are a lot more contenders off the top of my head!
edit: hm i guess 'cock' is considered profanity never mind then!
ed: somehow I didn't think to search the archives for 'churl'
my unofficial autobio will be accompanied with tips on how to smile
cause I've found that when they don't see you frown, they never know that you're a threat
and they don't sweat you when you came around
I really love the father POV they've been having since they spawned

But yeah, the Clawshrimp is the first one that comes to mind for me.
Claw shrimp is pretty much the answer, though.
...It's a long shot.
I like this one, but I think the Mega Man 9 Effect does the same thing, and may be more relatable to a non-gaming audience then Kirby riding a rainbow.
Even if they don't know who Mega Man is, they'll still be able to relate to something in their life that makes them feel like a little kid again, and a desire to share that thing with others.
But riding on a rainbow with an anthropomorphic pink marshmallow? Maybe not so much.
Different things are acceptable in different work environments
edit: Another father/son one
Yep.
