The first time I had to deal with disarming was during the Red Eagle quest, luckily it was only my sword and I was able to run up and grab it quickly.

I can't wait until I can disarm things with my shield.

For those playing on the 360, is the game glitchy at all? Hilarious glitches are fine, but gamebreaking ones make me sad I don't have a good PC

I have encountered five different glitches doing quests.

They all have workarounds like leaving/reloading, but it is super annoying. It detracts, but I am still having a ton of fun.

I think I've unlocked the elemental resistance for the shield, if you use one it is pretty handy.

I found my second dragon sleeping on top of a tower.

I sneak up, give it a thwack on the nose, he gives a couple passes of fire and then flies off behind the mountain we're next to.

I sit there for five minutes watching his health go down as he fights something on the other side. He eventually remembers I'm around and I finish the fight.

Also, somehow I can run this on PC at high settings even though them only good parts of my computer is the graphics card and the ram. And even those are old

No, I didn't have any official homes. Just the companions building and the mage college. So I have no idea where the eff he went. It makes me nervous having to watch out for my companions though.

Also I encountered an annoying bug. I was trying to cart a bunch of stuff out of a dungeon, I'd found some really cool enchanted weapons and wanted to go back and disenchant them so I could steal their powers.

But I had to drop a battleaxe so I could carry it in front of me out of the place, or at least shuffle some stuff off into a chest.

I set it down and I hear a clanking noise, and it is nowhere to be found. I look around for 5 or 10 minutes.

whelp.

I set something else down to see what happened to it. It goes shooting off into the far side of the room. I try this a few more times and they all go off in different directions. I was also really tired so I kept not being able to find the switch to get out of the room anyway

Mine too! I guess the video card is newish but I only have 4 gigs of DDR2 RAM

It gets a bit choppy in someplace like Whiterun when I come out of Dragonsreach, but even then it hasn't dropped below 20 fps yet.

and this is at 1920x1080, so I'm sure if I wanted I could crank down the resolution to 720 and it'd be fine.

Yeah my first deathlord disarmed my sword and I wouldn't have been able to kill him if I didn't always carry two with me for dual wielding.

Gonna need to look into carrying more than that from now on.

My fun adventure on the weekend

I was going to kill the dragon at Autumnwatch tower, or something like that. South of the town that serves as the entrance to High Hrothgar. Just south of the tower I saw some arches so I went up to investigate and discover this large open area at the bottom of the map with all kinds of cool stuff. My journey lead me to scale a mountain to reach a tower at the top which had a couple of toughish Draughr. Killed them, got a +1 resto book at the top of the tower and decide to head out. I walked down the steps and through an entranceway when I hear a noise. A deathlord pops out from a tomb behind me and starts hauling ass after me. I run down the next set of stairs and see a tomb with a dragon sitting above it. The dragon takes off (phew!) so I quickly run to the tomb and open it while bailing from the deathlord. Turns out in the tomb has no loot but instead has another super tough Draughr boss (not a deathlord but the next level down). I think FUCK and keep running from 2 tough Draughr when the dragon lands right infront of me! I end up in a crazy 3 way battle between a dragon, 2 super tough Draughr and myself. The dragon tanks the deathlord for a bit so I kill the lesser one, then I pull the deathlord off the dragon. The dragon flames us both while I am constantly running and healing from the Deathlord. Eventually the deathlord ends up killing the dragon himself and I manage to take down the deathlord after basically empting my potion reserve

I don't think I've ever been so pumped playing a game before. That fight was mental
