Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
Also, it kinda looks like Pixar is really varying up the art-style this time, which is something I haven't really seen them do (Cars, perhaps, aside, but I never really liked the look of that anyway).
holy shit
major spoiler for the plot of the film, like, huge spoiler
just read a synopsis, not sure how accurate it is, but if its true then holy shit. apparently it was on the wiki page for a while.
Spoiler:
Originally titled The Bear And The Bow, it’s about the adventures of Merida, a feisty archery-loving Scottish princess voiced by Kelly Macdonald.
She is at odds with her controlling but loving parents King Fergus (Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (Emma Thompson) and gets in trouble with some magic which has consequences for the whole kingdom.
Mark said: “It’s all about the relationship between a mother and daughter, and how this young woman has problems with her mother.
“When she has a problem with her mother over marriage, she gets a magic spell to try to stop her mother bothering her with the suitor business.

holy shit, man. if this is true that's ballsy as fuck
Getting a slight How to Train Your Dragon vibe from those visuals
Except... prettier
Also, all the people have the same accent. And it's actually Scottish people with Scottish accents.
My only (admitedly minor) nitpicky moment about How to Train your Dragon was that those were some awfully Scottish vikings. Oh, and that all the kids had American accents when they were surrounded by nothing but Scottish accents.

Also, so confused by the trailer. For some reason, I had the impression the lead in Brave was some superdeformed chibi style little girl.
Nowhere. Shut up.
To seize everything you ever wanted in one moment
Would you capture it or just let it slip?
like my uncanny valley senses are tingling
still gonna watch it
can a bear truly be a fulfilling antagonist for a feature length film
There really isn't a villain in toy story 1
Sid is an antagonist but the story is about a kid's connection with his toys
This looks pretty interesting.
well fuck that noise
this guy
This can be said about a lot of things.
dat hair <3
I just hope she doesn't have some makeover during the movie.
Hate it when they do that to the curlyhaired leads that play the 'not your typical girl'
this movie is gonna be so fucking amazing
WHAT
People were saying that?!?

So. Many. People. They were complaining about how her face was weird and awkward and ugly and alien and I was like fuck all of you
I hate them all
"If you don't know who Kendra is, I'm officially not speaking to you."
I didn't miss anything, right?

Didn't you know? This is actually a prequel to Disney's Tangled. She has supernatural hair!
I haven't seen Tangled because my girlfriend didn't like that the character looks like a plastic Barbie doll but I thought the trailers looked fun.
