I'm a little lost too. The prostate has nothing to do with your butt, unless he's talking about the prostate check, with the infamous Gloved Finger, but that's just to feel the prostate on the other side on the wall. The prostate sits under the bladder, with the urethra running through it. It lies up against the sigmoid colon, which allows digital manipulation to check for hardness.

I think the implication of the comic is that Gabe doesn't know what he's talking about.

Its weird to me how the art for the gabe character seemed to take a dive between 2002-2004 and then suddenly became the consistant gabe we know and love today.

I think 2007 was the year the hair was threatening to take over, and Gabe seems to have brought it back from the brink.

There's a comic edit somewhere parodying Gabe's massive hair, I bet it's from that time.

So, the dividing line between aught-8 and aught-9 is eye color. I didn't catch that in the Gabe version.

It's there. In '08, Gabe's eyes are pure black, from '09 on you can see that they're a very dark gray/blue (though still outlined in black).

Edit: Actually there are older comics where Tycho's eyes are discernibly brown, they're just rare closeups, like this one.

I started reading either in 01 or 02. But I was always a big fan of the 03 style.

And I just had sideburns and curly, kinda messy, medium length brown hair for the longest time.

Tycho's hair is pretty much representative of mine for probably ten years.
