Serious Business Cup 2012 - Season 2

Race Format

Once again this will be a multi-class event. The first class is Touring Classic and consists of RWD cars from 1975-1995 and will be B500.

The second class is Sports Challenge and consists of more powerful sports cars and supercars generally around S class (see below).

Participants will be required to have one car for each class as we will be racing them both each week.

Each race night we will divide into an even number of drivers in each class.

There will be a quallifying session before each race.

Race Night begins with Qualifying Session A. All racers qualify with their Sports Challenge car. The Lobby will be set to random grid order with a 5 second roll-off delay and collisions turned off. There will be 3 total laps. After this session the lobby will be set to a grid order of Lobby Points, thus setting the grid in the order of the qualifying session. The top half of qualifying racers will then start in Sports Challenge while the bottom half will start in Touring Classic.

The race will be a set number of laps designed to last approximately 30 minutes.

After the first race the lobby will be restarted (thus erasing the lobby points) and Qualifying Sesson B will take place on the same track. All racers qualify with their Touring Classic car. This will determine the starting order for Race 2. The top half of qualifying racers will then start in Touring Classic while the bottom half will start in Sports Classic. Because a Racer could perform poorly or very well in different qualifying sessions it is concievable they would race in the same class twice.

As before there will be a gentleman's agreement to have only one player in each model of car.

Teams are not a requirement but if you want to unofficially have a teammate you may. We will attempt to have a fairly even number of drivers in each class for each race.

Racing liveries are not required other than the number plates made by oldmanken80 (they're on his storefront) must be on the left and right side of the car, and your number must be on the rear and front/hood of the car.

Because we dont take this as seriously as some series, Part loadouts are not set in stone and you may change them for each race with one exception (see below).
