Community got a 1.3 last night, which is Abed's fault. Yet it was still the highest rated show on NBC.

    Seriously? Ouch.

Yep. But almost all of tv was down 6-8% as well. Community just fell a little harder than the rest.

I'm starting to think that 30 Rock is actually a documentary.

And fitting the theme, I thought 30 Rock this week was the worst episode in a long time. Abed got to them too it seems.

Did anyone call the phone number at the end? It wasn't a 555 number, was it? I may not have been fully paying attention.

So is anyone else surprised they never mention getting in the Guiness book for longest pillow fight?

I wasn't even expecting an ending reveal. I was expecting that to be mentioned in the first 5 minutes.

That's actually a pretty good explanation. Now that I think about it, Abed did let Troy be the good guy/main character with their Halloween costumes in the zombie episode.

Keith David is the guy that tells me what to do in Call of Duty and Mass Effect. Although he was awesome in The Cape.

The final narration really should have been 6 minutes of Jeff trying to get him to put sunglasses on.

I'm glad some people don't like this episode, because it finally makes me feel better about not liking certain episodes that the forum raved about.

I've become emotionally invested in a television program and how other people feel about it :|.

Yeah but that's about as far down the likability scale as episodes of community go ;).

For me, the worst episode is the glee-based one, and even that had 'boopy doopy doop boop sex.'

The schmitties are just too good at being annoying that it's hard to watch. Conceptually it's a good episode, but I hate those kids so much. Plus the side stories between Troy/Abed, and Shirley/Pierce are good stories.

  • NappuccinoNappuccino Registered User regular
This was an episode that was much better the second time around. I was not exepecting a Ken Burns parody. I had wanted the next Modern Warfare... only with pillows.

But, knowing what it was going into the episode made it so much better. God the rediculous number of pillow puns. And the layout of the East/ North/ South Wall battle is brilliant.

I still wish there was some more action within the episode though... The brief clips like shirley busting out of her picture just weren't quite enough for me. That said, I can now say I love this episode for what it is (which hasn't always happened in the past, like the recent faux-celebrity episode)

With all the talk about how Chevy is too old and out of touch to get the series, it makes me wonder about Richard Erdman (Leonard). Except that any time I see Leonard deliver a line, I can't possibly believe that Erdman is not in on the joke. So Chevy's problem isn't that he's too old to get it, it's that he's too much of an egomaniac to get it.

Though maybe I'm just liable to give Erdman way more credit because I love Stalag 17.

Erdman only delivers one liners so I think that might be part of it where as Chevy might just have a problem with the ensemble nature of the show.

I liked the fact that Pierce switched sides because Shirley was promoted over him.

Man, the Huge awards must LOVE Dr. Who.

There's also very little in the way of good sci fi on TV these days.

Also, unfortunately for Community, every single one of those Dr Who episodes is better than that ep was.
