Favorite ninja is Snake-Eyes, favorite military type is Flint... closely followed by General Hawk from S2 and Sgt. Slaughter.
...and Roadblock. Classic one, that is. Renegades version is okay, I guess, and I have to see more of The Rock before I pass judgment, but if he doesn't have his old background and is in to cooking-- and no, I don't mean that as a reference-- that deducts some serious points in my eyes.

Ha! I remember when Snake Eyes v3 came out, and it was so hard to find (I didn't get it the first time I saw it, of course), and it was so awesome. Then v4 came out the next year, and it was such a let down ("Why are his swords bright red!?!")
I saw theses movies the day they came out in theaters. It was so fucking weird to hear Don Johnson's voice in the GI Joe movie after watching Miami Vice religiously. I still wish I could remember what I thought about Optimus Prime dying. All I remember of the experience was that the theater was like a third or half full of teenagers, and then my grandmother, brother, and me. That seemed weird (I say, still discussing them at 32).

I doubt that any movie could ever change the way I watch movies but if one could I'd want it to be a G.I. Joe movie. Certainly it won't be this G.I. Joe movie but I'll still see it and prolly like it too.
