Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it, follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!
About a year or two ago, someone on this forum (maybe in Debate & Discourse?) linked to a story available online about a distant future where an AI basically made every human immortal. The main character was one of the oldest people in the universe, and also partook in a sport where participants tried their best to kill themselves in terrible ways in deathtrap obstacle courses or something like that. I've tried a few searches, but just can't find it. Does anyone here happen to know the name or is able to provide a link to it? I had started reading it, but got distracted and forgot about it for a while.
Nah, definitely wasn't I Have No Mouth and Must Scream. I did read that one and enjoy it though. This one seemed to have been written within the last 5-10 years and was an online-only story. I seem to remember it came up in a thread that was discussing post-scarcity societies.
