Me and my brother are looking for a movie we recall to be rather famous. It involves a man selling all his belongings, and then traveling around a country (presumably the US, although we are not sure) and finally dissapearing into the wilderness. He may or may not be found dead by the end of it. I'm completely stumped on the title, and googling variations of the plot is not helping at all.
