I can! But not for a few days. If it helps, at the bottom there is a regular little one-step steps tool that I'm standing on. Also if you remember the other afghan photos, where I put them on our love seat? It fills the love seat and just covers the arms. So, just slightly smaller than this.
It's a good couch-sized afghan! It's big enough to cover both @Janson and @Moriveth over their laps, or just one of them from chin to toe. I measured it against myself cuz I'm pretty sure they're both near my height.

I made an owl hat for his little sister and included with it a little scarf that matched. He thought the scarf was for him so he's been running around with a neon pink scarf for about a month.
One of these days I am actually going to be able to crochet something other than an single crochet square or single crochet border on something I've knitted. Untill that day i will still be knitting these damn iPad cozies I decided I had to make 5 of. 3 down and part or 4 started!

I love it Sheri! Love love!
I'm getting ready to start the dragon hat. then I've got a baby cardigan to do as a gift. Then another owl hat (or not).

I can do quilling. These days I create birthday cards using quilling technique, I quill different colour papers and make flowers, tree and many more stuff. Most of my friends were born on this month, so I create nice birthday cards for them.
I spent most of today sewing a Finn hat, which is the first time I've touched a sewing machine outside of high-school textiles classes. I'm trying to learn now because it seems like a pretty useful skill to have for when I finally move out, but It's also pretty fun. I want to sew more things now. Photos later.
Also trying to think of a batman-related thing I can make for my friend's birthday that's within my meager abilities. I don't have any woodworking tools but sewing is an option, or anything else. I was thinking of trying to make a batman grappling-hook replica out of a nerf gun, but I'm not sure how I'd go about that. Any other suggestions?
???
I don't know anything about yarn, but the beige one looks stiffer/lighter, like a thicker yarn? Which makes it seem like it'd be a bit more annoying to wrap around my throat because it'd be pooftier. But I like the beige more because its more watsony...

yeah. i know i can just redo it.
but i am still a bit nervous about it. my first attempt at a wearable thing.
I get this one right, I've got another to work on. The youngest baby that I babysat for many years ago is now having a baby. A boy. And she wants reds and greys for the clothes.

@Janson and @Moriveth won a custom large item in the Child's Play Charity auction this year and that's what they chose.

Oh wow!
Could you put a book or something next to it so we can see the scale of the blanket??

I've got a new commission! I'm making a 'monster' hat for a friend's nephew. Although I'm going to think about changing it to a dinosaur hat.

man, i just found out that I have another baby blanket to produce.
only the mother to be hates the normal baby colors.
Apparently for her little boy, she's aiming for blacks and reds.
so I get to make a pirate colored blanket or something.
This is going to be fun.

I can't wait to finish it, but i'm scared of the next step!

Right?
I've never really made wearables (well I made a little shrug once but it was all one piece so that hardly counts)
