2012 Forumer Opinion Thread / 2011 Census Results Thread
Well thanks to you guys following instructions and, most importantly, to @Napalm Donkey for his script-writing know-how, we were able to get the Census all done and dusted with relative ease and what we believe to be zero errors.
So, without further ado, let's get on with the 2012 Forumer Opinion Thread!
For those of you who do not know what that is, you can look up older threads or possibly discern what it is from the name of the thread if you're really clever... but if you really need your hand held, it is basically a thread where forumers get opinions about themselves from other forumers.
Please note that just because you SIGNED UP for an opinion doesn't mean you will definitely GET one, as it's up to each individual poster to decide how to sort through their list.

Vivixenne - She's the reason this list is here on time and without a hitch. BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP HER MORTALS. Viv has always struck me as a driven and helpful person. She's moved from country to country and overcome obstacles all while maintaining pretty clear and well defined goals. Its something to say when I can not only vividly remember viv, but I can remember what she's trying to do in life without that entirely encompassing her personality on these forums. It comes up when she tries to help people, she comes across as knowledgeable and confidant, and then she goes back to the regular wit of day to day foruming. It may also help that I have actually met her.
Antimatter - While Anti sometimes lays it on a little thick with the robosexual stuff, all in all, she's a pretty nice person and I'm glad she's around.
Big Red Tie - Decent? I think he's a little younger than the rest and sometimes it shows, sticks out to me mainly because I've played him in smash seen him in the fighting game thread.
Blake T - THIS MAN KILLED ME YOU SON OF A BITCH ALL EGGING ME ON TO CLIMB WHY WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING. No I'm just kidding. Pretty supportive, generally positive attitude and outlook, it's easy to see how he drives the ladies wild.
That Dave Fella - Dave has come to a few PAXes I've been to and he's always been a hoot and a hanny. One of those guys I wish I could have spent more time around cause he seemed like a good chap, but didn't really get a chance to sit down and chit chat like I have with the rest of you yokels. Dave is a generous sort, one who only brings up his secret station in life when he has a gift to dote. In many ways, he's a jolly irish santa who is much taller than me and can beat me up. Stick around Dave, you're aces.

Just some people whose names jumped out of the list as I scrolled it...
Blankzilla - Blankzilla is a true bro and a great guy who I love to chat comics or just anything with. He has a good sense of humour as shown by his reaction to Crimson King using his step-mother in a hypothetical sex game involving a hydraulic claw and a hot tub. World's Finest man, high five.
Langly - Langly is a cool guy with cool opinions and a good sense of humour. He often says stuff that I mean to say but in a much better way so I end up posting some sort of pathetic "yes this" post in order to back him up. It is a terrible shame he was not allowed to keep his kissing turtles sig.
Spectre-X - I used to think less well of him, but these days I usually find that if you engage him with the same level of energy that he engages you, then you can have a good and meaningful discussion with him, though he might want to tone down the pressure at times.
Liiya - Liiya is a truly nice person, who seems to take a genuine interest in how other people are doing and supports them in whatever, which is great. She also is a fellow Sheffielder which makes her pretty much the best.
Gumpy - Not bad for a softy southerner. Seriously though, he's a fun guy who makes terrible jokes and has an admirable level of interest in the world and making it better and so on. I wish him the best of luck in the future, and hope that he sticks around on the board to tell us about his adventures in the drunken world of student politics.
Antimatter - I love Anti loads, not least because she likes Tron and electronic music. Seems like she goes through some tough times at home, and I can sympathise with that. You ever need someone to talk to, you know where I am Anti!
I am trimming a horrendous number of people that I do not feel like I know to a reasonable degree off the list, partially for brevity, partially for the sake of being too lazy to go research you.
I am deeply apologetic if you were desperate for my opinion in particular and don't get it.
Spoiler:
Vivixenne - A thoroughly pleasant lady filled to bursting with good advice for people, the only (very mild) negative that I could consider applying would be that sometimes that advice is presented in a manner that can come across as slightly angry, which seems to come from a sense of frustration at other people not following/getting/understanding an issue as well, or as quickly, as she does herself.
Antimatter - A friendly young lady, to be sure, one of the posters that I always mean to get to know better, but never seem to get around to doing so.
Tef - A cool dude, he gave me a copy of Limbo, he's cool.
Mr Fuzzbutt - A very nice chap, and a great artist, unless I'm confusing people it was even his advice that led to me actually having a forumsona to get doodled for avatars, and it has been glorious. (Also very cuddly and warm due to fur).
tynic - A great poster, with a slightly wicked sense of humour, tynposts(tm) are almost always a pleasure, and her art is good enough that I ended up bookmarking her art thread so I wouldn't miss much of it.
neville - A really interesting poster, I love reading about his food based adventures, and his wit is almost always a delight, definitely a cool dudes.
ultimakay - One of the most ridiculously generous people I've ever met, constantly handing out games to people that can't afford them and similar in the Steam thread, and promoting similar behaviour in others. A poster that deserves accolades.
FAQ - A thoroughly good guy, hilarious when he's had a bit to drink, and probably one of the first people from the forums that caused me to really start connecting with the community a bit more.
Liiya - A lovely person, consistently kind, with a darker undercurrent to her humour, her floral arrangement posts (and stories from her work) are pretty much a delight when I see them.
rfilyaw - Another great artist, a maker of really good comics for the web, I always feel bad that I don't know HIM better than I do given how much I enjoy his comics.
ceres - Probably one of the nicest people I've ever known, sincere, kind, caring, and really just great in general, she hasn't always had an easy time of things, and I would hope that she already knows all the things I'm typing here, but she is a ridiculously fair mod, even when personal experience/opinion could cloud her judgement and take her down the route of doling out harsh punishments to people for particular things, she retains a degree of objectivity which is truly rare and startling.
She's also pretty much the best, and my favourite, and I am pretty crazy about her.
There, I said it, I love her, get over it.
Edcrab - A ridiculously entertaining poster, a wizzard with words, a sourcerer with sentences, a veritable vizier of vowels, his normal posts are enjoyable, but when he really gets going with some prose wonderous things start to happen.

@Antimatter : I really have nothing but good things to say about our resident Gynoid - affable, accepting, witty@~Beasteh: 90% of the time, a genuinely great @Beasteh : dude with a sharp eye for irony and some seriously funny remarks. 10% of the time a scathing, sarcastic individual with some brutal opinions. But really an awesome guy, great job @Crwth : Crwth is Crwth is Crwth, and webvoms aside manages to be entertaining and friendly company. @Munkus Beaver : Stubborn but fair, remarkable guy. I am slightly awed by his presence. Gets scratchy sometimes but who wouldn't considering. @Skull Man : Fantastic writer, sharp satirist/editer, good company. Perhaps a tad quick to condemn on occasion? Great dude @Spectre X : Remarkable amount of knowledge on a remarkable range of subjects but would benefit from some restraint in arguments. Admire his artwork, respect him and his opinions. @BugBoy : Generally amusing and amiable dude with a regrettable case of the sieve-brain with regards to the continuity of a certain comic. Perhaps be less afraid of change? @Crowbawt : Could be accused of having bought my love after that incredible portrait but was always a sincere, nice individual regardless of her proclivity for stabbing and blood and crows and death and kill and kill and kill @SabreMau : In awe, constantly, for obvious reasons. Machine precision comic timing and encyclopaedic knowledge. Not so much a forumer as a force, like gravity. Could perhaps inject a little more emotion into his statements? I sometimes feel like i'm reading wiki articles when I browse his posts.

Munkus Beaver -90% of you will say I am a sick and it sucks, but I certainly don't want that to be the thing that encompasses what people think of me.
Vivixenne - She's the reason this list is here on time and without a hitch. BOW DOWN AND WORSHIP HER MORTALS. Viv has always struck me as a driven and helpful person. She's moved from country to country and overcome obstacles all while maintaining pretty clear and well defined goals. Its something to say when I can not only vividly remember viv, but I can remember what she's trying to do in life without that entirely encompassing her personality on these forums. It comes up when she tries to help people, she comes across as knowledgeable and confidant, and then she goes back to the regular wit of day to day foruming. It may also help that I have actually met her.
Antimatter - While Anti sometimes lays it on a little thick with the robosexual stuff, all in all, she's a pretty nice person and I'm glad she's around.
Big Red Tie - Decent? I think he's a little younger than the rest and sometimes it shows, sticks out to me mainly because I've played him in smash seen him in the fighting game thread.
Blake T - THIS MAN KILLED ME YOU SON OF A BITCH ALL EGGING ME ON TO CLIMB WHY WOULD YOU DO SUCH A THING. No I'm just kidding. Pretty supportive, generally positive attitude and outlook, it's easy to see how he drives the ladies wild.
That Dave Fella - Dave has come to a few PAXes I've been to and he's always been a hoot and a hanny. One of those guys I wish I could have spent more time around cause he seemed like a good chap, but didn't really get a chance to sit down and chit chat like I have with the rest of you yokels. Dave is a generous sort, one who only brings up his secret station in life when he has a gift to dote. In many ways, he's a jolly irish santa who is much taller than me and can beat me up. Stick around Dave, you're aces.

Blankzilla - Blankzilla is a true bro and a great guy who I love to chat comics or just anything with. He has a good sense of humour as shown by his reaction to Crimson King using his step-mother in a hypothetical sex game involving a hydraulic claw and a hot tub. World's Finest man, high five.
Langly - Langly is a cool guy with cool opinions and a good sense of humour. He often says stuff that I mean to say but in a much better way so I end up posting some sort of pathetic "yes this" post in order to back him up. It is a terrible shame he was not allowed to keep his kissing turtles sig.
Spectre-X - I used to think less well of him, but these days I usually find that if you engage him with the same level of energy that he engages you, then you can have a good and meaningful discussion with him, though he might want to tone down the pressure at times.
Liiya - Liiya is a truly nice person, who seems to take a genuine interest in how other people are doing and supports them in whatever, which is great. She also is a fellow Sheffielder which makes her pretty much the best.
Gumpy - Not bad for a softy southerner. Seriously though, he's a fun guy who makes terrible jokes and has an admirable level of interest in the world and making it better and so on. I wish him the best of luck in the future, and hope that he sticks around on the board to tell us about his adventures in the drunken world of student politics.
Antimatter - I love Anti loads, not least because she likes Tron and electronic music. Seems like she goes through some tough times at home, and I can sympathise with that. You ever need someone to talk to, you know where I am Anti!

I am deeply apologetic if you were desperate for my opinion in particular and don't get it.
Antimatter - A friendly young lady, to be sure, one of the posters that I always mean to get to know better, but never seem to get around to doing so.
Tef - A cool dude, he gave me a copy of Limbo, he's cool.
Mr Fuzzbutt - A very nice chap, and a great artist, unless I'm confusing people it was even his advice that led to me actually having a forumsona to get doodled for avatars, and it has been glorious. (Also very cuddly and warm due to fur).
tynic - A great poster, with a slightly wicked sense of humour, tynposts(tm) are almost always a pleasure, and her art is good enough that I ended up bookmarking her art thread so I wouldn't miss much of it.
neville - A really interesting poster, I love reading about his food based adventures, and his wit is almost always a delight, definitely a cool dudes.
ultimakay - One of the most ridiculously generous people I've ever met, constantly handing out games to people that can't afford them and similar in the Steam thread, and promoting similar behaviour in others. A poster that deserves accolades.
FAQ - A thoroughly good guy, hilarious when he's had a bit to drink, and probably one of the first people from the forums that caused me to really start connecting with the community a bit more.
Liiya - A lovely person, consistently kind, with a darker undercurrent to her humour, her floral arrangement posts (and stories from her work) are pretty much a delight when I see them.
rfilyaw - Another great artist, a maker of really good comics for the web, I always feel bad that I don't know HIM better than I do given how much I enjoy his comics.
ceres - Probably one of the nicest people I've ever known, sincere, kind, caring, and really just great in general, she hasn't always had an easy time of things, and I would hope that she already knows all the things I'm typing here, but she is a ridiculously fair mod, even when personal experience/opinion could cloud her judgement and take her down the route of doling out harsh punishments to people for particular things, she retains a degree of objectivity which is truly rare and startling.
She's also pretty much the best, and my favourite, and I am pretty crazy about her.
There, I said it, I love her, get over it.
Edcrab - A ridiculously entertaining poster, a wizzard with words, a sourcerer with sentences, a veritable vizier of vowels, his normal posts are enjoyable, but when he really gets going with some prose wonderous things start to happen.
Melding - A really good friend, and a great lady.

But really an awesome guy, great job

@Munkus Beaver : Stubborn but fair, remarkable guy. I am slightly awed by his presence. Gets scratchy sometimes but who wouldn't considering.
@Skull Man : Fantastic writer, sharp satirist/editer, good company. Perhaps a tad quick to condemn on occasion? Great dude
@Spectre X : Remarkable amount of knowledge on a remarkable range of subjects but would benefit from some restraint in arguments. Admire his artwork, respect him and his opinions.
@BugBoy : Generally amusing and amiable dude with a regrettable case of the sieve-brain with regards to the continuity of a certain comic. Perhaps be less afraid of change?

@SabreMau : In awe, constantly, for obvious reasons. Machine precision comic timing and encyclopaedic knowledge. Not so much a forumer as a force, like gravity. Could perhaps inject a little more emotion into his statements? I sometimes feel like i'm reading wiki articles when I browse his posts.
