too bad it isn't a Perry The Platypus shirt

No, I'm pretty sure that is in fact a Krahulik interpretation of the esteemed Agent P.

No matter what I say there is a 40% percent chance I'm not being serious, and if I sound like I'm not then I probably am.

    Agent P, Fin and Jake.

That is the most perfect comic frame ever conceived.

This is exactly what I thought when I read the strip. I even had to go back and re-read the last panel because my mind started wandering. Then I heard John DiMaggio's voice tell me to focus.

Funny how I came here to say that the Perry the Platypus shirt made the child neglect okay. LOL Seems to be that's about as much parental supervision Phineas and Ferb have anyway, so Gabe's just encouraging his young to be inventive and resourceful.

Gabe, you'll remember this when you're old, feeble, and your progeny are too busy playing the newest Star Wars game to troubleshoot your Core Mind fusion problems.

Another TOR comic. I'm so confused! Everywhere on the internet the game is blasted as being garbage, and treated like a humiliating defeat for Bioware. Then I come on to PA and Gabe seems to think it's GOTY material. Ugh, am I going to have to buy it just to find out? I feel like a lot of times PA has weird/different opinions. The same thing happened with DA2. It was trashed everywhere, except on PA.

I love SWTOR. But I like story, I like games that treat story as the most important thing.

I will say that the game is pretty rough at this point and needs refinement - auction house is terrible, there needs to be a dungeon finder, UI needs work. But I don't care because STORY.

No one ever said "because a game is featured in a PA comic it means it's good and you must buy it".

Even so if "Gabe seems to think it's GOTY material", that doesn't mean you will like it.

What internet is this where that happens? I even tried doing a search for SWTOR reviews and opinions while writing this post and I can't find the opinions you mention.

It is one of the highest rated MMOs out there, the highest of 2011 from what I hear at the very least.

It is praised everywhere for it's amazing story driven gameplay.

At most it's "blasted" for not having WoWs amount of content and polish yet or for being too much like WoW.

Just to put it out there, my personal opinion: Best damn MMO I ever played so far, got its share of problems but it's great fun.

Robert sent me a mail entitled “Child’s Play” which included the following in the body of the message:

There was little in the way of context, but I got the gist; there was also a short coda about how we’re ever going to top that number, which is a fear I understand completely. I understand it because I felt the same way in 2003. And 2004. Also, 2010. If it were something that “we” were doing, maybe it would be impossible. But look at the events calendar: 2011 was more of a collaboration than any year before it, and the result was profound..

$3,512,345. What that means is that in the space of a single year, donations eclipsed the first five years of the charity combined. I don’t really know how to contextualize that; it would be as though a loose association of individuals, bound by a shared interest, created a wholly organic charity network that defies every available trend and model.

Holy crap! WTG everyone!! Pat yourself on the back

re: Gabe's post, I think the idea of a PA autograph book is a good one for fans; I'd just be worried that giving all the fans a PA-Pokédex and telling them to catch em all might make it hard for Robert and everyone else to do what they need to do at PAX. Maybe not though, they know better than I do.

I think the large number of Humble/developer Bundles this year helped as well. And you know, people's generosity.
