First time I saw this, I immediately thought of the alien from Chasm City. Then the ones from Blindsight. If you want to read creepy science fiction, I suggest both Alastair Reynolds and Peter Watts.
Turns out the real animal has a beak that just looks like human teeth from the outside due to the deep striations.
Our oldest cat was like that, but she was super sweet to us. It was everyone else she loathed. She was hilarious at the vet. It wasn't hilarious to the vet, mind you, but a pissed off cat never fails to make me laugh. It's the noises they make.
I don't know whether this person's work has been posted, but I saw this on Boing-Boing and this gallery is great. It varies between classic sci-fi, EC comics horror, and genuinely disturbing:
I was hoping for a movie where all the tension comes from porn magazines appearing in the worst places
as two parents try to keep their house rated PG they realize to their horror that their house has become a minefield
someone opens a door and there is a jump scare involving them suddenly seeing a magazine that was just sitting there
they open a closet and one falls out and hits them on the head
trying desperately to keep little billy distracted because the centerfold spread is right behind him
scenes where people have eerie conversations and then a shift in the camera focus reveals that a porno magazine was in the foreground all along
a mother is packing her son's backpack and as he walks out the the schoolbus she notices that his social studies book is still on the table so what did she pack in the bag
instead it looks like the box is haunted by the ghost of a loveless marriage or something
so during the shoot did they have an actual box of pornography or an empty box that they pretended was full of pornography
are these people method actors or not
I enjoy that this film reinforces the idea that pornography is a Thing that can just be encountered in a box in the woods, like it is almost naturally occurring

i love every cat
this is what my girlfriend says and i am still convinced she is insane because cats are inherently inferior to dags
that's when they turn into monsters

The lack of symmetry in the arms bothers me more than the man-mouth
cats start being great as soon as they start being dags
I have never seen a squid from that angle.

I grew up with a cat. It permanently cured any natural inclination to like them universally.
You know the Onion article about the cat that wouldn't die?
Replace all the medical care with pure spite and hatred for all living things.
She was three quarters dead when she got put down. Half blind, couldn't control where she peed, lot of other bits not working.
Still managed to attack the guy giving her the shot.
Why I fear the ocean.
seriously it's like an affliction or psychological defect
When he dies - if he dies, which isn't a given - I will pour some whiskey out on his grave and be legitimately sad
let it go skull!!!
Probably not.
Anyway, that cat's number 2 in cats that have hated me.
Number one was a melanistic leopard. Long story.
I stuck my hand in a lion cage with better results than dealing with my regular cat.
