So glad I live in Chicago. Grocery stores can sell any alcohol. Then we have Binny's which is basically Walmart if Walmart sold nothing but every kind of beer, wine and liquor imaginable. And you can special order anything they don't have, they'll find it for you. Bars close at 2 am, except Saturday when they close at 3, and they can even apply for a license to stay open until 4.
