I'm going to have to take the sub-luminous drives offline for a few hours to calibrate the compression coils. We must have taken a stray hit from some solar mass when we passed through that gas giant's magnetic field a few days ago. I'm not picking up any radiation leaks, which is a good thing. But if I don't lock this down and get those coils back up to at least 99.7% then it's just going to get worse.

And I don't know how you feel about these things, but a compression coil blowing out when we try to make a mass-drive jump isn't the makings of a good day.
