So was
Also Jerry's auction style was great. <3
ohmygod
Same here, but then I get a little misty whenever Child's Play is mentioned, so that was kinda a freebie.
And Erika's new hair is very amazing. I think Seattle is becoming of her.

Edit: Side note - This thread only got moved to The Hub just now, didn't it?
I noticed that too.
I wonder if she genuinely needs them, or if she is copying the OP.
Oh man. Now I'm getting all nostalgic for the hide-the-bottle episodes. I wonder if we'll get any more pranks this season?
I always like when G&T take on serial strips like PA Presents or Automata
1. Work on something you're so passionate about
2. Using a skill you've developed your whole life
3. to universal acclaim
4. have people value the work so highly
5. have that value put directly to helping sick kids
It's like a perfect storm of emotion.
Had me tearing up as well.
Erika looks rad, too.
Oh and yes, Erika's new hair / glasses work very well for her.
Thats all the words i came here to post! So very much agree! and like Vantage Points new Logo.
For the record (and I'm assuming you're referring to Mike and Jerry's Season 2 DVD Commentary), I actually DO need glasses. I had laser eye surgery back in 2000 and did not need glasses for some time, but in the last 3-4 years my eyes have essentially gone to shit again.
Love the comic, love the episode, love the show. Don't stop.
That's really a shame.

# paweaboo Talk about the animu's with friendly people on SLASHnet.
Mrs Sadsad, you were a super gorgeous bride (didn't get to mention that in the thread about that episode but wanted to say it) and your new hairstyle's great.
About the episode: Being an aspiring artist myself, shivers literally ran down my spine watching the bids go up and up - and that was before the tears in Mike's eyes. It's moments like these that make PATV so great. I'm still excited. Now if only the barrage of 4th Panels would cease...

Ah, that sucks. And yes, it was a reference to the commentary.
Man, they ripped on you pretty good over the eyeglasses. Gave me a good laugh at the time.
I wouldn't say it is truly an irrational fear. It is, after all, your fucking eyes, and I read up on a story a few days ago about people who had implants stuck over top of their irises to change their eye colour. A few years later, and they are almost completely blind after developing issues like glaucoma and having multiple surgeries.
I wear glasses myself. I've tried contacts, but decided to use my glasses because:
A: My glasses have saved my eyes multiple times over by deflecting objects travelling at high speed, and some large stationary things that I've run into by accident.
B: The first time I gave contacts a serious go, which was for my wedding, I ended the night desperately digging under my eyelids for 15 minutes while half blind, because the contact had folded up in half and slid underneath my eye when I was removing it. The pain was incredible, and at first I couldn't tell if it had gone underneath my upper or my lower eyelid. When I finally managed to spot it stuck beneath my lower eye lid, my attempts to pull it out were met with failure as it kept slipping away and heading further down underneath my eyeball.
I've only worn contacts once since then, and the difficulty I had with putting them on and taking them out, in addition to the event related above, I decided it wasn't worth going through just so I could wear fancy sunglasses.
