the only thing I can really think of it doing is some weird trick with Mirror of Fate or Barren Glory or something, and for both of those there are far better options

but this doesn't even really do anything for mill, just constantly eradicates both players' hands and/or fields
though the wording with and/or makes me think we'll be seeing something in the set that would make one or both of the effects desirable
edit: although actually I guess I could see it performing reasonably well in a token deck assuming you have enough producers to support the exiling of permanents, but it really seems too slow to help tokens

now confirmed (via some Spanish store opening a pack way in advance I guess) are reprints of Thunderbolt and Barter in Blood
edit: well at least there's a really bad quality image of a Spanish Thunderbolt with new art and AVR set symbol, and beyond that just the poster's word that BiB was in the same thing
They both kind of make sense for the set, so I wouldn't be shocked.
I read that as lightning bolt at first and was all AHAHAHAHA.

I am not entirely sure if I'd be happy with Lightning Bolt being back or not, probably though because hey more chances to pick some up and use them places
he's also listed a few other cards (without names) and provided one other sorta-blurry picture (still clear enough to make out text though) of a new card, so I may as well list off the stuff even if it's not quite fully confirmed yet

1R instant, discard your hand then draw (2 or 3, not known for sure) cards (common)
1W human soldier, 2/1 vigilance (common)
W human _____, 1/2 pro-vampires (common?)
and then Appetite for Brains which we already know and some red knight with no other details
I kinda get the feeling decent into madness will be banned in EDH?
I mean, eventually it will reach the point where no one has any permanents or hands anymore.

I don't know if that's ban-able at least insofar as the official rules go, but it'd certainly be a no-fun situation and I can see lots of playgroups forbidding it (though that's probably what you meant????)

Well, things like limited resources, balance, sway of the stars, and upheaval all seem to me to be very similar to decent into madness, and they are all banned.

huh, then you could very well be right, I didn't know what was on the ban list but it didn't initially seem that bad to me (you're right it is somewhat similar to those)
