    I am comforted by Richard Dawkins’ theory of memes. Those are mental units: thoughts, ideas, gestures, notions, songs, beliefs, rhymes, ideals, teachings, sayings, phrases, clichés that move from mind to mind as genes move from body to body. After a lifetime of writing, teaching, broadcasting and telling too many jokes, I will leave behind more memes than many. They will all also eventually die, but so it goes. - Roger Ebert, I Do Not Fear Death

    so far as i know it's the only difference. i googled and saw this:

    As stated in previous posts, there is only one slice of cheese as compared to 2 for the DCB. However, There is a difference between the meat product used in the McDouble as well. The double cheeseburger contains 100% beef product while the McDouble contains patties that contain a mixture of beef and a filler mostly containing oatmeal. This constitutes the $.20 lower cost for the McDouble.

    but it seems bogus.

    Ah, yes, our generation is pre-occupied with 80s themed parties revisiting the long-dead trends of three decades ago ... I wonder if our kids will have parties with the year 2000 as a theme.
    80's = popped collars and pastel suits
    90's = plaid and mullets
    ... 2000 had no trend. The Rachel haircut?

    Birmingham pretty much invented metal. I got to see the guitar Iommi wrote Black Sabbath on, original sketch for the cover of Nostradamus, bunch of old ND merch/tapes/wax. It was p cool.

    I also got to meet ND, Primordial and At The Gates.

    Be warned, friends. We are currently creating the bullshit retro culture we must live through again in 2040.

    if you don't like synthpop then it's not going to be your thing. maybe check out Pulling Mussels. It's straightforward indie guitar rock.

    That doesn't sound true at all. The hamburger, cheeseburger, double cheeseburger, and mcdouble all use the same patties out of the same little grease drawer thing.
