the Locust also has a great sound

The Kasumi DLC should be one of the first things you do. It's a fantastic mission, the weapon you get in it one of the best in the game, and she's an awesome crew member.

Kasumi is also great because she just tells you stuff when you press A on her instead of going into a conversation wheel everytime.

    What's that semi-auto combat rifle in ME2?

I love love LOVE that thing.

I click so fast that it unloads faster than an auto. :D

The heavy weapon I usually use is the collector laser gun. Is the Arc Projector that much better? The description wasn't very exciting.

I plowed through Arrival sooo fast with the mattock.

First half I used the avenger, though, because a plain machinegun is something you miss.

might have to actually play that one.

I didn't like it. The combat was button mashy, the story and setting appeared derivative, and the camera wasn't conducive towards looking around at the world and you're limited in your exploration (the minimap shows you the available paths, anything not on the path is just scenery).

    I would try the demo.

Actually I take that back about the combat being button mashy. It can be, but a few times I managed to do some cool things with the dodging and the shield that requires some thought and reaction finesse.

I say that mostly because I have used a real machinegun and fuck did I love that weapon

also, you never feel more boss than when in uniform, with 100 rounds of ammunition in ammo belts around your neck, and a 1.2 metre machinegun on your shoulder

    wait, correction

you never look more boss than that

    Play Majora's Mask.

It's the same game tech-wise, but in a setting that has this delicious flavour about it.

The tech is what bugs me the most. The 3D stuff is bad. Half the time I can't see what's in front of me, or I go forward but end up a little diagonal from where I wanted to be.

2D Link to the Past was much easier and more fun to play.

at long range you have the viper, a high quality weapon in and of itself
at mid ranges it's accurate enough given the volume of rounds and the option of fire in bursts
at short ranges it. fucks. everything.
