it's finally back.
Motherfucker.
Thanks, burtle. I don't know if I have tried impact. I don't mind the irons, so I don't use a red dot sight on the m14 too often.
The ACOG works better with Kick, but having a suppressor is good too, although less important on DZ it seems, since it is all GO GO GO GET IN THE RED SMOKE BRO!
Does anyone else have any opinions?
RDS + Focus is better. Since it barely needs kick the only thing that could stop you killing someone is flinch.
Impact is super fun in Team Defender, especially on Bakaarrarkara
Nobody is safe in those sniper buildings, if they get the flag there.
You have 20 high damage rounds in each clip. Impact isn't necessary.
I like using RDS/silencer or RDS/rapid fire as well.
if the ACOG works for you, great. But I feel like its kind of a waste of an attachment. I never have too much trouble sniping someone with it using the red dot, not to mention that the ACOG adds recoil and has a longer ADS time. But if you have poor eyesight or need help with long range, maybe put on marksman for a more defensive playstyle. I like stalker with the MK14 cuz I find that you really need to strafe a lot with it at mid range to combat the type 95 and lower recoil ARs, but as with everything else, it's all up to personal preference.
EDIT:
Best MK14 setups DO NOT DISPUTE ME.

Thanks for the suggestions, guys. I will try them out. I don't know what the consensus is, but I don't mind the irons. The ACOG makes me feel like an OPERATOR, lol. I don't see many advantages to using RDS. Maybe I will just stick with the irons.
I dislike.
Also; Tuba? Blind Eye? Quickdraw?

Well there's no need for SoH because it has 20 rounds of kickass. Whatever you want dead will be dead long before you reload. And it has so much killinating with its starting ammo that Scav is a waste in most cases. Recon is also useless because anything the Mk14 touches dies. And EC is just...eh.
Which leaves Blind Eye. Which is also not fantastic but useful on the kind of maps where you'd use a Mk14.
And EC is never meh.
But Scav is what I use with the Mk14.
Gym-Fu
Primary: Elliptical Bike (w/cardio)
Secondary: Weights
Lethal: iPod
Equip: Water bottle
Perk1: Lightweight Clothing Pro
Perk2: Girl Stare Pro
Perk3: Deodorant Pro
Support: Hanging TV, Towel Supply, Weightloss
I mostly use the Elliptical Bike for my cardio. I've tried running with Treadmill, but it provides too much recoil on my knees. I switch to weights twice a week to keep balance my routine. Since I'm using a school funded gym, I don't need to run Fee Reduction as my first perk. Perk 2 is essential with all of the cute college girls swarming me, pro variant for sure. iPod can be swapped with towel or duffel bag, your choice.

Love it! Here's mine:
Secondary: Push-up/sit-up breaks
Lethal: Lap timer
Equip: Three-quarter length shorts
First perk: Loose Shirt
Second Perk: Nonchalance Pro
Third Perk: Animal Magnetism Pro
Lap Streaks: Drink fountain, Unplanned run length.
I run local parks and push-up/sit-up breaks for an all-around class workout. YMMV but it works for me.
Loose shirt combos well with three-quarter length shorts. Looks cooler than those fitness freak douches who run Bike Shorts and Tight Singlets Pro. Looks are important.
I get why you'd run Girl Stare Pro but I've always preferred Nonchalance Pro when running by a cute girl at the park. Personal choice, but I prefer the feel.
Animal Magnetism Pro is a perk I should probably switch out; it's fun, but like Ye Olde Scrambler it sometimes attracts the unwanted - like a dog running in your path, or slobbering all over you when you get caught pulling out a push-up break.
I run drinks fountain with unplanned run length and no third lap streak to keep the exercise loose and open.
Anyone else run a kitchen class? I'm just starting out with one so I'd love to hear from you guys.
Nope, always carry a Stinger because the MK14 gets plenty of ammo and the Stinger gives points and poinstreaks like whoa
Oh, OK. How do you set up your m14?
Have you tried Blind Eye Pro + Rifle yet? I know that on my LMG class I could take down about three choppers per magazine. If you can take down air support reasonably quickly with the MK14, that would open up the slot for a machine pistol. Or, if you play a lot of Dropzone, a Javelin.
