BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend - still too good for EVO.

And so they could have tri-personalities~
And make fun of every magical girl trope~

Is this an accurate statement?

If you haven't played CS at all, I wouldn't go that far. CS is light years ahead of the original BlazBlue, and CS Extend is CS with all the nice extensions and DLC already on the disc. By skipping straight to CS Extend, you'll get the more out of CS than someone who bought CS at it's release last year.

Story reasons and characters guaranteed to be in the next one man. We are already hype~.

You sure? I really Fucking loved CT.
Regardless think of CS extend as street fighter arcade edition. Because they will make the inevitable STV.
One question. Is CS a continuation story wise of CT. Cause when i was playing arcade mode on CSex with Noel I was asking myself is she chasing Ice guy again? Or is this a mashup of the whole story?
CS is a continuation. It follows the events immediately after Noel saves Ragna and Hazama reveals he's a psycho. In fact, in Extend you can play a brief recap story mode, given it's own chapter, and given a little more sense. The story moves forward a lot. Bad characters become good, good characters become bad, stuff actually happens and we're given a new bad guy at the end. It's nothing like Guilty Gear, in which ten years have passed and nobody knows who the villain is or what the conflict is.
Skipping Extend is definitely a bad move.
We already have Rachel for pseudo-loliness, though! And besides, there's no law that states "magical girls" have to be prepubescent! Suitably old, busty Trinity would be just fine!
. . . Whatever. I always have Noel and Makoto to comfort me. . .

* Don't mash buttons, teching (ukemi) has special rules that make you way more vulnerable than rolling in MvC and Guilty Gear.
* Go to Challenge Mode to learn fancy combos, and Tutorial Mode to learn character specific footsies (called Spacing in BlazBlue.) Training is just generic Training.

In SF you don't want to jump much.
In BB, you want to be jumping a lot.
then learning how any part of the blockstring goes into your bnb and reacting on hit

Celica, Nine's sister. Terumi murdered her when he kidnapped Saya. She ran the church that her, Jin, and Ragna stayed at.
Welcome to the world on this side.
I mean I reasoned Hakumen, Terumi and Valk...not so sure about the others.
I wish I could tell what characters were going to be used as it goes, since I don't actually know how to play any of them and could use some prep time.

I heard CT's story mode was included in Extend. Is this not true?
BBRevo US Qualifiers really got me into the BB mood.
It's a shame the majority of Teach Me Miss Litchi is gone, unless I'm missing something. It would teach you about the setting and lore and was goddamn hilarious.
Oh yeah, new players neeeeeeed to youtube all the Teach Me Miss Litchi clips for lore and comedy gold.
Having tried Makoto's first Challenge, I have to say I like her style - something of a technical brawler, with enough to throw opponents off guard when you need to. I'll have to practice inputting movements with the control stick, since my D-pad is pretty well worn after playing stuff like Hard Corps: Uprising.
Also, Rachel's tutorial instructions are adorably rage-inducing.
Where is this at? In the Tutorial section or her trial section?
The Tutorial mode. The one where you have to hit Ragna's neutral C, 6C, Dash Cancel into neutral D three times. Either the input doesn't register half the time, or the dummy recovers too quickly.
Also GODDAMN is Boss Hazama in Arcade mode a pain. Not even Nu in the original was this obnoxious to deal with. I'll be bumping the Arcade down to Easy for convenience's sake.
I was basically just mashing it, honestly.

Oh, yes I remember that. Then there's the conclusion of CS's story
