So, there i was going out to grill some burgers when something seems off. The grill is in the garage because it's cold as fuck out and last time it was windy as shit. so i flip the light switch, god damn smoke everywhere.
Being the ponderous type i put the food down on a bench, and open the lid. It was like staring into the maw of hell.
I grab the water bottle and attempt to open the lid and after only burning off some of the hairs on my hand start trying to put out the 18 inch tall flames.
So yeah, some first degree burns, and a some coughing my lungs out later, i cook some boss ass burgers.

Also tef, that's a pretty big fire.
Biggest one i ever was around is when we set my backyard on fire to clear out the growth.
Jesus. D: Luckily there aren't any big diesel stockpiles in my district. We have one (1) main route to worry about.
...although we had two structure fires on that main route in the last six months, both less than half a mile from our firehall.
