Our new Indie Games subforum is now open for business in G&T. Go and check it out, you might land a code for a free game. If you're developing an indie game and want to post about it,
follow these directions. If you don't, he'll break your legs! Hahaha! Seriously though.
Our rules have been updated and given
their own forum. Go and look at them! They are nice, and there may be new ones that you didn't know about! Hooray for rules! Hooray for The System! Hooray for Conforming!

I haven't even watched the video.
EDIT: Sakaguchi and Uematsu, making a game called
Final FantasyThe Last Story?[El]: 2 [En]: 2 [G]: 80 [M]: 31 [N]: 80 [R]: 2 [T]: 2 [W]: 34

Like it was their
FinalLastPenultimate game!Wait, doesn't penultimate mean second-to-last?
I'm trying to decide whether to import from Amazon.it or not. Ordering Xenoblade from there was painless. It automatically used my account credentials from Amazon.com and shipped for free if I wanted. I ended up ponying up extra for expedited shipping. The only Italian thing about the game was the manual. The entire game was in English, or really whatever language I wanted.
And now that I'm thinking through this, I remember that almost all major games are printed in only a few versions, EFIGS being the main one. English, French, Italian, German, and Spanish text on one disc, usually with one spoken language.
Hmm.

Shit, it does. Shit.
LALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALALA!!!!
First ten minutes of the game! Player sucks though!
The link gives me a 404, sadly.
Nintendo Ninjas?
Link got truncated somewhere. Fixed it.
I don't think this is a "day 1" for me but its pretty close.
You guys should all pre-order like five so I can get it in the US faster.
Nice!
Whoever's playing there certainly doesn't seem to be appreciating the more refined approaches to problem solving.
Thank the Greeks that the euro is tanking so badly.
The pound isn't much better either! Many people got Xenoblade for less then the regular price of a Wii game in the states!
oops I didn't mean to post here. Ignore me.actually, while I'm here...
I can confirm that the pound is apparently in the shitter. I ordered some BluRays from Amazon.co.uk and they were less than half the price they were on Amazon.com.
They shipped to America, no problem. Maybe even for free, I don't remember. Anyway, it was awesome.
Fixed that for you, philistine.
Hell, might as well link the entire OST and be done with it. I hope the music to TLS is half as good as that, which it will be because, you know, Uematsu.

Oh no, I know about that. That got a confirmed release at GameStop. But before than, that's what I ended up doing.
Speaking of which, I gotta continue pretending this game doesn't exist so I don't care about it!
LALALALALALALALALALA!!!
More games should be released in Europe first. That way we get to hear more of those lovely British accents.
I'm liking how Zael talks!
You just know the big bad's going to sound awesome, however. I wonder if it's good enough to stand up to Metal Face?
Pronounciation: Sy-Reyn
Description:
A Brittish creature fond of Drink and Battle.
Decent price, no idea if they ship to US.
On the other hand, The Last Story doesn't have an annoying mascot party member.
I usually don't like cute sidekick characters like this, but Riki is pretty awesome.
Oh, no doubt. I'd rather he wasn't in the game at all. But I consider characters like these to be pretty much a given in most JRPGs, so the fact that he doesn't interfere with the story is good enough for me. And he's amazing in combat.
Oddly enough I did a count and it turns out that I have about five PS3 games, yet nearly two dozen Wii games... and this one sounds like it could be added to that collection.
I talk about it maybe five or six times in the Xenoblade thread but his support roles and tick damage are second to none and his cooldowns are really fast too.
He also has most of the good skill links that speed character growth.
Got my preorder in, haven't done that in a damn long time, but since every store will probably be getting approximately 2 copies of this, I am not going to miss out.
Also, Nintendo website has some of the music up, pretty good stuff. http://gamesites.nintendo.com.au/the-last-story/en_AU/index.php#media_music
Anyways, here's a review in German that somehow seems to look prettier than Nintendo's own official trailers.
Well, there are always those Wii2HDMI adapters, but considering I can get a component cable for a quarter of the price of on HD adapter, their pricing seems a bit steep. They're supposed to work alright, but I'm not sure if the device itself actually does any HD scaling.
