I think we've already established that the GOP as a party is now made up of people who think that if they reduce us to a Mad Max wasteland that they'll all be warlords with their own party of car-raiders and an entire harem of wasteland women to do with as they please.

When places like Mississippi and Oklahoma have a better grip on their sanity with social conservatism you have to wonder what is in the water in Arizona. Texas seems slightly easier to decipher since they seem to have had a perpetual entitlement/legislative asshole complex.

Im not entirely sure they do, since it took a court to overturn the law. Unless this judge has to run for reelection, but even then I dont think they can formally be part of a political party (like, they can be a republican but they cant run as a Republican but they can be endorsed by the local republican party).

There was a bombing at a Planned Parenthood in Wisconsin. FBI and DoJ's Civil Rights Division are investigating. Fortunately no injuries, just some fire damage.

Start? Violence at abortion clinics isn't new.

There's no living with a killing. There's no goin' back from one. Right or wrong, it's a brand... a brand sticks. There's no goin' back. Now you run on home to your mother and tell her... tell her everything's alright. And there aren't any more guns in the valley.

For there to be a new surge there would have to have been a past surge. This kind of thing happens at irregular intervals, but I don't think it's been surging. Remember that guy who got shot a few years ago coming out of church?

That's not meant to downplay the shit that's going on though.

There were quite a lot of them in the 90s. And shooting abortion doctors is a not a new thing and has quite the organization behind it. Almost the state of Tennessee, before wiser heads prevailed.

If God wanted us to have legal abortions, aborto-temples wouldnt burn. Ipso facto, the only moral abortion is my abortion (because I dont burn, because Im a witch. Oh fuck!).

Alright guys, start putting down your bets about which Republican will step up to say, "This wasn't politically motivated"!

Also, an ex of mine would volunteer for a pro-life center (I'm not sure what they do exactly) whenever they got vandalized. Which is a lot. So, just to be clear and fair, both sides of the abortion issue are just as capable of being fuckwads as the other.

    Was it one of these?

Obviously whatever they were doing doesn't justify vandalism, but there's a world of difference between providing medical care and pretending to provide medical care, but actually using lies and intimidation to scare vulnerable women.

I don't know if it's one of those places.

The bottom line is, smashing windows and spray-painting a building is childish and dumb, even if the people working in the building are detrimental to social growth.

I spoke in error is all. I never meant to equate firebombing with simpler vandalism. Only that dumb shit happens on both sides. Obviously setting a building on fire is way worse and extreme.
