Spam and deleting forum access? bad mega corp

A long time ago I was part of a software community. They got bought by some mega corp. I have an account on their forum. They will not delete it after 4 requests (they just ignore me). They also spam me [on both forum AND email] without any way to unsubscribe.

Both me and company are located in the US.

Is there anything I can do to have them delete all my info or atleast stop spamming me? They don't have an 'unsubscribe' link in their emails, so pretty sure that is illegal? How would I "get them" for that? I just want them to delete my info and stop spamming, not looking for money - but maybe legal action would scare them enough to react?

    Honestly the best way to deal with spam from a known source is to create a filter to automatically delete it. I mean you can go along the lines of CAN-SPAM http://business.ftc.gov/documents/bus61-can-spam-act-compliance-guide-business and report them.

    Its just much easier to filter it out and never see it again.
